18. 18PBBRKati ani uncot ka sadatn kasih, tapi kasih da sempurna ngusir uncot karna uncot bahubungan nige' hukuman. Sok da uncot, tinga gatn sempurnakan sadatn kasih.BSBBSB: There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love.
19. 19PBBRIte ngasihi karna Ini' labih uru mangasihi ite.BSBBSB: We love because He first loved us.
20. 20PBBRJika ani sok da nyansana, "Iko' mangasihi Jabata", tapi ngarusi age a', sok dakoh anilah panipu. Sabab, sok da kati' bisa ngasihiage a' da tampalak, kati bisa ngasihi Jabata da kati tile.BSBBSB: If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
21. 21PBBRGe, parintah diah ite narima umpatn Jabata: Satiap sok da mangasihi Jabata, arus mangasihi age a' uga.BSBBSB: And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well.
