2 PBBR Gembalakanlah domba-domba Jabata da ani ketmu! Usah karna tapakse, tapi nige' rela, samu' da Jabata kahendaki; usah umas a' yak kaatn untong da hina, tapi karna kasediaanmu.' BSB BSB: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not out of greed, but out of eagerness;
3 PBBR Usa uga ba tindak sebage penguasa tahadap ayo' a' da gatn pacaya a' ka sadatn tanggung jawabmu', tapi jadilah taladan yak kawan dakoh. BSB BSB: not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

BSB BSB: Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
6 PBBR Sabab dakoh, rendahkanlah adupmu' ka saroh barekng Jabata da panhu kuasa' Maka, Ni' ao' nganyamo' a' imu' ka waktu a.' BSB BSB: Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you.
7 PBBR Nyarahkanlah samaan kakhawatiranmu' ka Jabata karna Ni' da melihara imu.' BSB BSB: Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
8 PBBR Waspadalah ge ba jage-jagelah! Musuhmu', si Iblis, bajalatn mondar-mandir samu' singa da ngaum, najo mangsa yak gatn nagok a.' BSB BSB: Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
9 PBBR Lawanlah Iblis! Agutnlah taguh sadatn imanmu' karna imu' pane bahwa ka seluruh dunia, age-age seimanmu' uga nanggung panderitaan da imu' ngalam a.' BSB BSB: Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
10 PBBR Ge, ngalaka imu' mandarita yak sementara waktu, Jabata sumber sagale anugerah da laka maba'mu' yak nganang naap bagi a' sadatn kamuliaan-A' da kekal ka sadatn Kristus ao' mulih a', negug a', nguat a', ge mambangun imu.' BSB BSB: And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.
11 PBBR Bagi Ini'lah, kuasa yak salama-lama a'. Amin! BSB BSB: To Him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
12 PBBR Iko' nulis surat singkat diah kaimu' lewat Silwanus, da ko'kanal sebage age seiman da satia. Iko' ngate mangkatn samangat ge kasaksian kaimu', bahwa diah anilah anugerah da sejati umpatn Jabata. Agutnlah taguh ka sadatn anugerah sakoh. BSB BSB: Through Silvanus, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
