BSB BSB: Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
5 PBBR Iko'ta puutn anggur ge' imu'ta daatn-daatn a'. Satiap sok da madi' ka sadatn Iko', ge' Iko' ka sadatn ini', ini' ao' babuah karah karna sak bapisah umpatn Iko', imu' kati' kaatn umas jai-jai. BSB BSB: I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
6 PBBR Sak sook kati madi' ka sadatn Iko', ini' ao' gatnmatatn ulah daatn ge' jadi karikng; ge' sok ao' gatnngubu' ge' gatnnyangkahatn ka sadatn api, ge' tabakar. BSB BSB: If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 PBBR Sak imu' tatap madi' ka sadatn Iko' ge' saratn-Ko' madi' ka sadatn imu', mahimih jai saja da imu' ngatte, ge' dakoh ao' gatnngabul wa'imu.' BSB BSB: If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 PBBR Sama'-Ko' ao' gatnngamulia nige' hal diah, dakohta sak imu' babuah karah ge' nige' ladakoh, imu' anilah murid-murid-Ko'." BSB BSB: This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
9 PBBR "Ulah Sama' laka sayang ka Iko, ladakohta Iko' laka mangasihimu'; tatapta madi' sadatn kasih-Ko.' BSB BSB: As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
10 PBBR Sak imu' taat wa' smaan parintah-Ko', imu' ao' madi' sadatn kasih-Ko', samu ulah Iko' laka taat wa' parintah Sama' ge' madi' sadatn kasih-A. BSB BSB: If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
11 PBBR Hal-hal diah Iko' muji' wa'imu' supaya sukacita-Ko' ani ka sadatnmu', singge sukacitamu' jadi panhu.' BSB BSB: I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12 PBBR Diahta parintah-Ko': Imu' arus saling mangasihi. Samu ulah Iko' laka mangasihi imu.' BSB BSB: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 PBBR Kati' ani kasih da labih ayho dari pada kasih sook da mangkatn nyawaa' ya' kawan-kawan a.' BSB BSB: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14 PBBR Imu' anilah kawan-kawan-Ko' sak imu' umas jai da Komerintah wa'imu.' BSB BSB: You are My friends if you do what I command you.
15 PBBR Iko' kati' agi' magaatn imu' panyangu karna panyangu ti' pane jai da gatn tuana' umas. Ao' ta, Iko' magaatn imu' kawan karna smaan da Iko' dangah umpatn Sama', laka Iko' muji' wa'imu.' BSB BSB: No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.

BSB BSB: You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
17 PBBR Diahta parintah-Ko: Imu' arus saling mangasihi!" BSB BSB: This is My command to you: Love one another.
18 PBBR "Sak dunia ngarusi'mu', imu' pane bahwa dunia laka ngarusi' Iko' katinga ngarusi'mu. BSB BSB: If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.
19 PBBR Sak imu' umpatn dunia, pastilah dunia ao; mangasihi jai dagatn na umpu'; tapi karna imu' inya umpatn dunia, tapi Iko' laka milihmu' umpatn dunia, karna hal dakohlah dunia ngarusi' imu.' BSB BSB: If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20 PBBR Ingatta saratn da laka Komuji' wa'imu': 'Nyungan panyangu kati' labih ahyo daripada tuan a'. Sak ayoa' laka nganyaya Iko', ayoa' uga' ao' nganyaya imu'. Sak ayoa' taat wa' firman-Ko', ayoa' uga' ao' taat wa' saratnmu.' BSB BSB: Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.
21 PBBR Ao'a, smaan dakoh ao' ayoa' umas tarhadap imu', karna gaatn-Ko'. Sabab, ayoa' kati' nganal Ini' da ngutus Iko.' BSB BSB: But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me.
22 PBBR Sak Iko' kati' utukng ge' muji' smaan dakoh wa' ayoa', ayoa' kati' ao' umpu' dusa. Tapi mati', ayoa' kati' umpu' alasan ya' duse ayoa.' BSB BSB: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23 PBBR Satiap sok da ngarusi' Iko', ini' uga' ngarusi' Sama-Ko.' BSB BSB: Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.
24 PBBR Saandaia Iko' kati' umas ka antara ayoa' pakaraje-pakaraje da kati' suah gatn sok laitn umas, ayoa' kati' ao' umpu' duse. Ao'a mati, ayoa' laka mile' namun tatap ngarusi Iko' ge' Sama-Ko.' BSB BSB: If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
25 PBBR Namun, firman da tatulis sadatn kitab Taurat ayoa' arus gatngenap: 'Ayoa' ngarusi' Iko' tampa alasan.' BSB BSB: But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’
27 PBBR Ge' imu' uga' ao' basaksi karna imu' laka samahu-Ko agi' mule a.' BSB BSB: And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
