1. 1MKWna ntangu yina mu zola kunyakisa Isayeli, yimbi ya Efalayime na masumu ya Samaliya me talana, samu ti, bawu ke na kusadila luvunu. Muyibi ke na kukota na yinzo, nkonga ya binwani me mwangana na ngaanda.BSBBSB: When I heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim will be exposed, as well as the crimes of Samaria. For they practice deceit and thieves break in; bandits raid in the streets.
2. 2MKWNa bantima ya bawu, bawu ke na kuyindula ata fyoti ve ti, mu me zimbana ve yimbi yina bawu ke na kusala. Na ntangu yayi, mavanga ya bawu ke ya kukangama na bawu, mpe mu ke na kutala yawu.BSBBSB: But they fail to consider in their hearts that I remember all their evil. Now their deeds are all around them; they are before My face.
3. 3MKWNa yimbi ya bawu, bawu ke na kutalisa ntinu kilengi. Na luvunu ya bawu, bawu ke na kuyangidika bamfumu.BSBBSB: They delight the king with their evil, and the princes with their lies.
4. 4MKWBawu nyonso ke na kusala kinsuza. Bawu kele mutindu bafuule yina kisadi-mampa me tulaka tiya. Yandi me bika na kubwela yawu tiya, kubanda ntangu yina yandi yidikaka kiputi ya faline, tii na ntangu yina yawu ke funa.BSBBSB: They are all adulterers, like an oven heated by a baker who needs not stoke the fire from the kneading to the rising of the dough.
5. 5MKWNa kilumbu ya mukembo ya ntinu ya beto, bamfumu ke belaka na manima ya kunwa vinu ya mingi, mpe ntinu ke salaka mutindu bawu, na kusekaka bampangi.BSBBSB: The princes are inflamed with wine on the day of our king; so he joins hands with those who mock him.
6. 6MKWBayina ke kubikaka mambu ya yimbi, bawu kele tiya mutindu bafuule. Na mpimpa nyonso, nkele ya bawu ke talanaka ve. Kasi na suka, nkele yango ke talanaka, mpe yawu ke yokaka mutindu tiya ya nene.BSBBSB: For they prepare their heart like an oven while they lie in wait; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
7. 7MKWBawu nyonso kele tiya mutindu fuule. Bawu me kufwa bazuzi ya bawu. Bantinu ya bawu nyonso me kufwa, mpe ata muntu na kati ya bawu me bokila munu.»BSBBSB: All of them are hot as an oven, and they devour their rulers. All their kings fall; not one of them calls upon Me.
8. 8MKW«Efalayime ke na kuvukana na bantu ya nkaka. Efalayime kele mutindu galete yina ba me balula ve mpe me nyenga lweka mosi.BSBBSB: Ephraim mixes with the nations; Ephraim is an unturned cake.
9. 9MKWBanzenza ke na kumanisa yandi ngolo, kasi yandi ke na kuzaba ve. Yandi me kuma na bansuki ya mpembe, kasi yandi ke na kuzaba ve.BSBBSB: Foreigners consume his strength, but he does not notice. Even his hair is streaked with gray, but he does not know.
10. 10MKWLunangu ya bantu Isayeli ke na kufunda bawu. Kasi bawu ke na kuvutuka ve na Yave, Nzambi ya bawu. Na kati ya mambu nyonso yina, bawu me sosa ve yandi.BSBBSB: Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, yet they do not return to the LORD their God; despite all this, they do not seek Him.
11. 11MKWEfalayime kele mutindu dibembe ya kizoba, yina kele ve na mayela. Bawu me bokila bantu ya Ngipiti, bawu me kwenda tii na Asili.BSBBSB: So Ephraim has become like a silly, senseless dove—calling out to Egypt, then turning to Assyria.
12. 12MKWNa ntangu yina bawu ke kwenda, mu ke losila bawu mpwasa ya munu. Mu ke bwisa bawu mutindu bandeke ya mazulu. Mu ke bwila bawu ntangu mu ke kuwa ti, bawu me vukana.»BSBBSB: As they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like birds of the air. I will chastise them when I hear them flocking together.
13. 13MKW«Kyadi na bawu samu ti, bawu me kima ntama na munu. Yawu ke vwanda mwangusulu mpe nyonso ke beba samu na bawu, samu ti, bawu me manga na kutumama na munu. Munu, mu zolaka vuukisa bawu kasi bawu ke na kuzonza mambu ya luvunu samu na munu.BSBBSB: Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! Though I would redeem them, they speak lies against Me.
14. 14MKWBawu ke na kubokila munu na ntima mosi ve. Bawu ke na yawula na zulu ya bamfulu ya bawu. Bawu ke na kulwalisa banzutu ya bawu samu na kuzwa bambuma ya faline na vinu ya malu-malu. Na kusalaka mutindu yina, bawu ke na kupesa munu manima.BSBBSB: They do not cry out to Me from their hearts when they wail upon their beds. They slash themselves for grain and new wine, but turn away from Me.
15. 15MKWNa kutala mbote, ni munu longaka bawu. Ni munu pesaka bawu ngolo, kasi bawu me banzila munu mambu ya yimbi.BSBBSB: Although I trained and strengthened their arms, they plot evil against Me.
16. 16MKWKana bawu ke vutuka, ni na sika ya munu ve bawu ke vutuka. Bawu kele mutindu munani ya kutengama. Bamfumu ya bawu ke kufwa na mvita, samu ti, bawu ke na kuzonza yimbi samu na munu, mpe kuna na Ngipiti, bantu ke seka bawu!»BSBBSB: They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword for the cursing of their tongue; for this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.
