1Beno sika mpungi samu na kulwengisa bantu. Mpasi ke na kukwiza na Yinzo ya Yave mutindu mbemba. Yave me tuba: «Bantu me zitisa ve ngwisani ya munu. Bawu me tumama ve na Musiku ya munu.Put the ram’s horn to your lips! An eagle looms over the house of the LORD, because the people have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My law.

2Bawu ke looka na munu: “Nzambi ya beto, beto bana ya Isayeli, beto me zaba nge.”Israel cries out to Me, “O our God, we know You!”

3Bantu ya Isayeli me manga mambu ya mbote, na yina, mutantu ke landa bawu.But Israel has rejected good; an enemy will pursue him.

4Bawu me soola bantinu ata kuyufula luzolo ya munu. Bawu me soola bamfumu, munu ata kuzaba. Bawu me yidika banzambi ya biteki na wolo mpe palata ya bawu. Mpe yawu me zimbisa bawu.They set up kings, but not by Me. They make princes, but without My approval. With their silver and gold they make themselves idols, to their own destruction.

5Bantu ya Samaliya, mu me nyafuna kiteki ya beno ya mwana ya ngombe. Mu me dasukila bawu. Tii wapi ntangu bawu ke lenda ve na kuvwanda ya kuvedila?He has rejected your calf, O Samaria. My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of innocence?

6Kiteki yina ya mwana ya ngombe me katuka na Isayeli. Ni muntu yidikaka yawu, yawu kele ve Nzambi. Ee, mwana ya ngombe ya Samaliya ke mwangana na bitini.For this thing is from Israel—a craftsman made it, and it is not God. It will be broken to pieces, that calf of Samaria.

7Bawu me kunda mupepe, mpe bawu ke yonzika kitembo ya ngolo. Bambuma ya faline ke mena ve. Kana yawu mena, yawu lenda kubuta ve. Kana yawu pesa bambuma ya faline, ni banzenza ke kudya yawu.»For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. There is no standing grain; what sprouts fails to yield flour. Even if it should produce, the foreigners would swallow it up.

8«Ba me mina bantu ya Isayeli. Bawu me kuma mutindu kima yina bantu nyonso ke na kuyina.Israel is swallowed up! Now they are among the nations like a worthless vessel.

9Bawu me kwenda na Asili. Mbuluku ya mfinda ke kebaka kimpwanza ya yandi. Kasi bantu ya Efalayime me futa samu na kuzwa makangu!For they have gone up to Assyria like a wild donkey on its own. Ephraim has hired lovers.

10Ata ti bawu me futa bamfumu ya bayinsi, ntangu yayi mu ke yonzika bawu. Na mwa ntangu fyoti, bawu ke tala mpasi na maboko ya ntinu ya Asili.Though they hire allies among the nations, I will now round them up, and they will begin to diminish under the oppression of the king of princes.

11Bantu ya Efalayime me yidika biyokolo mingi ya minkayulu samu na mulemvo ya masumu. Kasi biyokolo yango, ni yawu ke na kusala ti bawu kubwa na masumu.Though Ephraim multiplied the altars for sin, they became his altars for sinning.

12Ata ti mu sonikina bawu lutangu ni lutangu ya misiku ya munu, bawu ke tala yawu mutindu ti yawu kele dyambu ya nzenza.Though I wrote for them the great things of My law, they regarded them as something strange.

13Bawu ke pesaka munu minkayulu ya bibulu mpe bawu ke kudyaka mbisi ya yawu. Kasi, munu Yave, mu ke ndimaka yawu ve. Na ntangu yayi, yandi ke bambuka moyo na yimbi ya bawu, yandi ke futisa bawu masumu ya bawu, mpe bawu ke vutuka na Ngipiti.»Though they offer sacrifices as gifts to Me, and though they eat the meat, the LORD does not accept them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt.

14«Isayeli me zimbana Nzambi yina yidikaka yandi. Yandi me tunga bayinzo ya kitoko. Na yina me tadila Yuda, yandi me tunga bambanza mingi yina kele na bibaka ya lukengolo. Kasi mu ke fidisa tiya na bambanza yina mpe yawu ke yoka bayinzo ya bawu ya kitoko.»Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has multiplied its fortified cities. But I will send fire upon their cities, and it will consume their citadels.
