Psalm 105 (ULB)

1യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുവിൻ; അവന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുവിൻ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അറിയിക്കുവിൻ.Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.

2അവന് പാടുവിൻ; അവന് കീർത്തനം പാടുവിൻ; അവന്റെ സകല അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുവിൻ.Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.

3അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിൽ പ്രശംസിക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

4യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരയുവിൻ; അവന്റെ മുഖം ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിക്കുവിൻ.Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.

5അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന്റെ മക്കളുമേ,Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,

6അവൻ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ന്യായവിധികളും ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളുവിൻ.O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

7അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ട്.He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.

8അവൻ തന്റെ നിയമം ശാശ്വതമായും താൻ കല്പിച്ച വചനം ആയിരം തലമുറ വരെയും ഓർമ്മിക്കുന്നു.He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—

9അവൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോട് ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നെ.the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.

10അതിനെ അവൻ യാക്കോബിന് ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന് ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

11“നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരിയായി ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് കനാൻദേശം തരും” എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.“I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”

12അവർ അന്ന് എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആൾബലത്തിൽ ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,

13അവർ ഒരു ജനതയെ വിട്ട് മറ്റൊരു ജനതയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യം വിട്ട് മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോയിരുന്നു.they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.

14അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ അവൻ ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെനിമിത്തം അവൻ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു:He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:

15“എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുത്, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്ക് ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുത്” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.“Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”

16അവൻ ദേശത്ത് ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി; ഭക്ഷണമില്ലാതെ ജനം വലഞ്ഞു.He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies of food.

17അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി അവൻ ഒരുവനെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവർ ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.He sent a man before them—Joseph, sold as a slave.

18യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകുകയും അവന്റെ വചനത്താൽ അവന് ശോധന വരുകയും ചെയ്യുവോളംThey bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,

19അവർ അവന്റെ കാലുകൾ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ട് ബന്ധിക്കുകയും അവൻ ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയിൽ കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.

20രാജാവ് ആളയച്ച് അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി; ജനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതി അവനെ വിട്ടയച്ചു.The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.

21അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഏതുസമയത്തും ബന്ധനസ്ഥരാക്കുവാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാർക്ക് ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുവാനുംHe made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,

22തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന് അവനെ കർത്താവായും തന്റെ സർവ്വസമ്പത്തിനും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.

23അപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് വന്നു പാർത്തു.Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.

24ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാൾ അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,

25തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകയ്ക്കുവാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോട് ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കുവാനും അവൻ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.

26അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.

27ഇവർ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28അവൻ ഇരുൾ അയച്ച് ദേശത്തെ അന്ധകാരത്തിലാക്കി; അവർ അവന്റെ വചനത്തോട് മറുത്തുനിന്നു;He sent darkness, and it became dark—yet they defied His words.

29അവൻ അവരുടെ വെള്ളം രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.

30അവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് തവള വ്യാപിച്ച്, രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളിൽപോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.

31അവൻ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശം മുഴുവനും നിറഞ്ഞു;He spoke, and insects swarmed—gnats throughout their country.

32അവൻ അവർക്ക് മഴയ്ക്കു പകരം കൽമഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.

33അവൻ അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തിവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകർത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.

34അവൻ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്ന്,He spoke, and the locusts came—young locusts without number.

35അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ സകല സസ്യങ്ങളും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.

36അവൻ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ എല്ലാ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സർവ്വവീര്യത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.

37അവൻ അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടി പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.

38അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഭയം അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നു.Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.

39അവൻ തണലിനായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയിൽ വെളിച്ചത്തിനായി തീ നിറുത്തി.He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.

40അവർ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവൻ കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വർഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ട് അവർക്ക് തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41അവൻ പാറ പിളർന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അത് ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.

42അവൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവാഗ്ദത്തത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രഹാമിനെയും ഓർത്തു.For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.

43അവൻ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടി പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.

44അവർ തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കുകയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങൾ ആചരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,

45അവൻ ജനതകളുടെ ദേശങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു; അവർ വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.that they might keep His statutes and obey His laws. Hallelujah!
