Psalm 107 (ULB)

1യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുവിൻ; അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത്!Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.

2യഹോവ വൈരിയുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കുകയും കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും കടലിലും ഉള്ളLet the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy

3ദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരായ അവന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാർ അങ്ങനെ പറയട്ടെ.and gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

4അവർ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ജനസഞ്ചാരമില്ലാത്ത വഴിയിൽ അലഞ്ഞുനടന്നു; പാർക്കുവാൻ ഒരു പട്ടണവും അവർ കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no path to a city in which to dwell.

5അവർ വിശന്നും ദാഹിച്ചും ഇരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ തളർന്നു.They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them.

6അവർ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress.

7അവർ പാർക്കുവാൻ തക്ക പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന് അവൻ അവരെ ശരിയായ വഴിയിൽ നടത്തി.He led them on a straight path to reach a city where they could live.

8അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

9അവൻ ആർത്തിയുള്ളവന് തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയും വിശപ്പുള്ളവനെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു നിറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

10ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോട് മത്സരിക്കുകയും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ ആലോചന നിരസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത് അവർ ഇരുളിലും അന്ധതമസ്സിലും ഇരുന്നു.Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and chains,

11അരിഷ്ടതയാലും ഇരുമ്പുചങ്ങലയാലും ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ-because they rebelled against the words of God and despised the counsel of the Most High.

12അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അവൻ കഷ്ടതകൊണ്ട് താഴ്ത്തി; അവർ ഇടറിവീണു; സഹായിക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.He humbled their hearts with hard labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.

13അവർ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.

14അവൻ അവരെ ഇരുട്ടിൽനിന്നും മരണനിഴലിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ അറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke away their chains.

15അവർ യഹോവയെ, അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

16അവൻ താമ്രകതകുകൾ തകർത്തു, ഇരിമ്പോടാമ്പലുകൾ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.For He has broken down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.

17ഭോഷന്മാർ അവരുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങൾ ഹേതുവായും തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.Fools, in their rebellious ways, and through their iniquities, suffered affliction.

18അവർക്ക് സകലവിധ ഭക്ഷണത്തോടും വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി; അവർ മരണവാതിലുകളോട് സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു.They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death.

19അവർ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചു.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.

20അവൻ തന്റെ വചനം അയച്ച് അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കി; അവരുടെ കുഴികളിൽനിന്ന് അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit.

21അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

22അവർ സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങൾ കഴിക്കുകയും സംഗീതത്തോടുകൂടി അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വർണ്ണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing.

23കപ്പൽ കയറി സമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഓടിയവർ, പെരുവെള്ളങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തവർ,Others went out to sea in ships, conducting trade on the mighty waters.

24അവർ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളും ആഴിയിൽ അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കണ്ടു.They saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep.

25അവൻ കല്പിച്ച് കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിപ്പിച്ചു, സമുദ്രം അതിലെ തിരകളെ പൊങ്ങുമാറാക്കി.For He spoke and raised a tempest that lifted the waves of the sea.

26അവർ ആകാശത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയർന്നു, വീണ്ടും ആഴത്തിലേക്ക് താണു, അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ കഷ്ടത്താൽ ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.They mounted up to the heavens, then sunk to the depths; their courage melted in their anguish.

27അവർ ലഹരിപിടിച്ചവനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളി ചാഞ്ചാടി നടന്നു; അവരുടെ ബുദ്ധി കെട്ടുപോയിരുന്നു.They reeled and staggered like drunkards, and all their skill was useless.

28അവർ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചു.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress.

29അവൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിനെ ശാന്തമാക്കി; തിരമാലകൾ അടങ്ങി.He calmed the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed.

30ശാന്തത വന്നതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവർ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച തുറമുഖത്ത് അവൻ അവരെ എത്തിച്ചു.They rejoiced in the silence, and He guided them to the harbor they desired.

31അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

32അവർ ജനത്തിന്റെ സഭയിൽ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.Let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people and praise Him in the council of the elders.

33നിവാസികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം അവൻ നദികളെ മരുഭൂമിയുംHe turns rivers into deserts, springs of water into thirsty ground,

34നീരുറവുകളെ വരണ്ട നിലവും ഫലപ്രദമായ ഭൂമിയെ ഊഷരനിലവും ആക്കി.and fruitful land into fields of salt, because of the wickedness of its dwellers.

35അവൻ മരുഭൂമിയെ ജലതടാകവും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കി.He turns a desert into pools of water and a dry land into flowing springs.

36വിശന്നവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ താമസിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ വസിക്കുവാൻ പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും നിലം വിതയ്ക്കുകയുംHe causes the hungry to settle there, that they may establish a city in which to dwell.

37മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുകയും സമൃദ്ധിയായി ഫലങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest.

38അവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ട് അവർ അത്യന്തം പെരുകി; അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികൾ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകുവാൻ അവൻ ഇടവരുത്തിയില്ല.He blesses them, and they multiply greatly; He does not let their herds diminish.

39പീഡനവും കഷ്ടതയും സങ്കടവും ഹേതുവായി അവർ പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞു താണുപോയി.When they are decreased and humbled by oppression, evil, and sorrow,

40അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ നിന്ദ പകരുകയും വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്ത് അവരെ അലയുന്നവരായും ചെയ്യുന്നു.He pours out contempt on the nobles and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland.

41അവൻ ദരിദ്രനെ പീഡയിൽനിന്നുയർത്തി അവന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടംപോലെ ആക്കി.But He lifts the needy from affliction and increases their families like flocks.

42നേരുള്ളവർ ഇതു കണ്ട് സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീതികെട്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും വായ്പൊത്തും.The upright see and rejoice, and all iniquity shuts its mouth.

43ജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവർ ഇവ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കും.Let him who is wise pay heed to these things and consider the loving devotion of the LORD.
