BSB BSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.

Se'be'ne'hnya, kame ka be'gombol be'sama dengan Tuan Allah Bapa juge' Anak-Nya, Yesus Kristus. BSB BSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4 PBA Semua hal ika kame' tulis ke'na dike'u bie'h dike'u be'sukahia. BSB BSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5 PBA Ika ah kabe'h nang lah kame te"nge, ng te'ndang Die' dan kame' be'hitau ke'na mika, yaitu Tuan Allah ade' ah te'hang dan be'k de'lam Die' kok ade' nang ge'le'p. BSB BSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6 PBA Kalau kita nyakap kita ka ade' persekutuan de'ngan Die', tapi kita idup de'lam ge'le'p, kita pe'ngakal juge' kok nge'he'je'n apa nang be'ne'h. BSB BSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 PBA Tapi, kalau kita be'je'lan de'lam te'hang, sama macam Die' be'k de'lam te'hang, kita pon de'pat be'gombol sato de'ngan nang lain, de'hah Yesus Anak-Nya, me'he'sih kita agi semua dosa. BSB BSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
9 PBA Kalau kita ngaku dosa-dosa kita, Die' tu se'tia, kok pilih kasih ndok ngambun dosa-dosa kita juge' ndok me'he'sih kita se'mua agi nang je'e't. BSB BSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 PBA Kalau kita nyakap kita be'le'm pe'he'nah be'bue't dosa, kita mue't Die' je'di pe'ne'po, Pe'nyakap Tuhan kok ade' de'lam kita. BSB BSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
