BSB BSB: If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
18 PBA Anak-anakku, moh ah kita mengasihi buke'n dengan kata-kata atou lide'h, tapi mue't ke'lakun nang beneh. BSB BSB: Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
19 PBA Dengan ika, kita akan tau kalau kita asalnya agi nang be'ne, h kita de'kuatkan ati kita de’ de'pan Tuan Allah. BSB BSB: And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and will assure our hearts in His presence:
20 PBA Khana, apabe'la ati kita nuduhkan kita, Tuan Allah lebih be'se'h agi pada ati kita, dan Ia tau semuannya. BSB BSB: Even if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things.
21 PBA Se'de'ha-se'de'haku nang ku kasihi, kalau ati kita tidak nuduhkan kita, kita meyakinkan dihi be'k de'pan Tuan Allah. BSB BSB: Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God,
22 PBA Apa pon nang kita pinda, kita nehimanya agi Tuan Allah khana kita nge'kot pe'he'ndah-pe'he'ndah-Nya dan juge' nge'he'je'n apa nang sesuai kepada-Nya. BSB BSB: and we will receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what is pleasing in His sight.
23 PBA Ika ah pe'he'ndah Tuan Allah, yaitu bie, h kita pe'caya de'lam nama Anak-Nya, Yesus Kristus, kita saling mengasihi shopa nang lah de'pe'he'ndahkan-Nya ke'na kita. BSB BSB: And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
24 PBA Ohang nang ta'at pe'he"ndah-pe'he'ndah Tuan Allah tinge'l be'k de'lam die'. Agi sike' kita tau be'he'sanya Tuan Allah tinge'l be'k de'lam dihi kita, khana Maya nang Tuan Allah karuniakan ke'na kita. BSB BSB: Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit He has given us.
