And after encouraging them, he said goodbye to them and left for Macedonia.

3 UDB उनी ग्रीसमा तिन महिनासम्म बसे। अनि पावलले पानी जहाजबाट सिरिया फर्किनका लागि योजना गरे तर त्यहाँ भएका केही यहूदीहरूले उनी यात्रामा रहँदा उनलाई मार्ने योजना गरिरहेको कुरा उनले सुने। त्यसकारण उनले जमिनको बाटो भएर जाने निर्णय गरे र फेरि उनी माकेडोनिया नै भएर गए। BSB BSB: where he stayed three months. And when the Jews formed a plot against him as he was about to sail for Syria, he decided to go back through Macedonia.
4 UDB जो मानिसहरू उनीसँगै यरूशलेमसम्म यात्रा गर्न जाँदै थिए, तिनी बेरिया सहरका पुरसका छोरा सोपात्रोस, अरिस्तार्खस र सिकन्दस जो थेसलोनिका सहरका थिए; गायस जो डर्बी सहरका थिए, तिमोथी गलातियाका थिए, र तुखिकस र त्रोफिमस एसिया प्रान्तका थिए। BSB BSB: Paul was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus from the province of Asia.
5 UDB पावल र म लूकाभन्दा ती सातजना मानिसहरू मकेडोनियाबाट पानी जहाजमा अगाडि नै गए, त्यसपछि तिनीहरू सातै जना त्रोआसमा उत्रे र हामी दुईलाई तिनीहरूले त्यहीँ पर्खिबसे। BSB BSB: These men went on ahead and waited for us in Troas.
6 UDB तर पावल र म जमिनको बाटो भएर फिलिप्पी सहरतिर यात्रा गर्यौँ। यहूदीहरूको अखमिरी रोटीको चाड पर्दा, हामी त्रोआस सहरतिर गइरहेको पानी जहाजमा चढ्यौँ। हामी पाँच दिनपछि त्रोआस पुग्यौँ र हामीभन्दा अगाडि यात्रा गरेकाहरूलाई भेट्यौँ। तब हामी सबै त्रोआसमा सात दिनसम्म बस्यौँ। BSB BSB: And after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we sailed from Philippi, and five days later we rejoined them in Troas, where we stayed seven days.
8 UDB हामी भेला भएको माथिल्लो तलाको कोठामा धेरै टुकीहरू बलिरहेका थिए। BSB BSB: Now there were many lamps in the upper room where we were gathered.
9 UDB त्यहाँ युटिकस नाउँ गरेका एक जवान मानिस पनि थिए। उनी घरको तेस्रो तल्लाको खुल्ला झ्यालमा बसिरहेका थिए। पावलले लामो समयसम्म लगातार बोलिरहँदा, युटिकस निदाउन थाले। अन्त्यमा उनी भुसुक्कै निदाएछन्। उनी झ्यालबाट तल जमिनमा खसे। तुरुन्तै केही विश्वासीहरूले तल गएर उनलाई उठाए। तर उनको मृत्यु भइसकेको थियो। BSB BSB: And a certain young man named Eutychus, seated in the window, was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell from the third story and was picked up dead.
10 UDB पावल पनि तल झरे। उनी त्यो जवान मानिसमाथि लम्पसार परेर आफ्ना हात उसको वरिपरि राखे। अनि आफ्ना वरिपरि उभिरहेका मानिसहरूलाई उनले भने, “चिन्ता नगर, उनी फेरि जीवित भएका छन्!” BSB BSB: But Paul went down, threw himself on the young man, and embraced him. “Do not be alarmed!” he said. “He is still alive!”
11 UDB अनि पावल उनीहरूसँग माथिल्लो तलामा फेरि गए र प्रभु भोजमा सहभागी भए। त्यसपछि विश्वासीहरूसँग पावलले सूर्योदयसम्म कुरा गरे। त्यसपछि उनी त्यहाँबाट गए। BSB BSB: Then Paul went back upstairs, broke bread, and ate. And after speaking until daybreak, he departed.
12 UDB त्यस जवान मानिसलाई अरू मानिसहरूले घर लगे, र ऊ फेरि जीवित भएको कारणले तिनीहरूले धेरै सान्त्वना पाए। BSB BSB: And the people were greatly relieved to take the boy home alive.
13 UDB तब हामी जहाजमा गयौँ। तर त्रोआसमा पावल हामीसँग जहाजमा चढेनन्, किनभने उनी हामी बाँकी रहेकाहरू पानी जहाज चढेर आसोसतिर लाग्यौँ। BSB BSB: We went on ahead to the ship and sailed to Assos, where we were to take Paul aboard. He had arranged this because he was going there on foot.
14 UDB हामीले पावललाई आसोसमा भेट्यौँ। तिनी हामीसँग जहाजमा चढे, र हामी मिलेटस सहरतिर लाग्यौँ। BSB BSB: And when he met us at Assos, we took him aboard and went on to Mitylene.
15 UDB एक दिनपछि हामी मिटिलेने पुग्यौँ, त्यसपछि हामी जहाज चढेर खिओस टापु नजिक आइपुग्यौँ। त्यसपछिको दिनमा हामी जहाज चढेर सामोस टापुमा पुग्यौँ। अर्को दिन सामोस छोडेर जहाज चढी मिलेटस सहरतिर लाग्यौँ। BSB BSB: Sailing on from there, we arrived the next day opposite Chios. The day after that we arrived at Samos, and on the following day we came to Miletus.
16 UDB एफिसस सहरको ठिक दक्षिणमा मिलेटस पर्दथ्यो। पावल एसियामा समय नबिताउने भएको कारणले एफिससमा रोकिन चाहेनन्। यदि सम्भव भए, उनी पेन्तिकोसको दिनमा यरूशलेममा नै पुग्न चाहन्थे, अनि पेन्तिकोसको चाड नजिकै थियो। BSB BSB: Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid spending time in the province of Asia, because he was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem, if possible, by the day of Pentecost.
17 UDB मिलेटसमा जहाज पुगेपछि पावलले एफिससमा भएका विश्वासीहरूका एल्डरहरूसँग कुरा गर्नका लागि एउटा सन्देसवाहक पठाए। BSB BSB: From Miletus, Paul sent to Ephesus for the elders of the church.
18 UDB ती एल्डरहरू उनीकहाँ आएपछि, पावलले तिनीहरूलाई भने “जुन दिनदेखि म एसिया प्रान्तमा पुगेँ, तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ म तिमीहरूका बिचमा रहँदा हर समय कसरी व्यवहार गर्दथेँ। BSB BSB: When they came to him, he said, “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I arrived in the province of Asia.
19 UDB कसरी मैले नम्रतामा र कुनै बेला रुँदै निरन्तर प्रभुको सेवा गरेँ भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ। तिमीहरूलाई यो पनि थाहै छ, अविश्वासी यहूदीहरूले कसरी मलाई हानि पुर्याउन खोजे। BSB BSB: I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, especially in the trials that came upon me through the plots of the Jews.
20 UDB तिमीहरूलाई यो पनि थाहा छ, मैले परमेश्वरको वचन प्रचार गर्ने क्रममा तिमीहरूलाई सहयोग हुने कुनै कुरा पनि छुटाइनँ। तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ कि त्यसबेला धेरै मानिसहरूका बिचमा परमेश्वरको वचन सिकाएँ र तिमीहरूको घरसम्मै गएर पनि सिकाएँ। BSB BSB: I did not shrink back from declaring anything that was helpful to you as I taught you publicly and from house to house,
21 UDB यहूदी र गैरयहूदी दुवैलाई तिनीहरू सबैले आफ्ना पापमय स्वभावलाई त्यागेर हाम्रा प्रभु येशूमा विश्वास गर्नुपर्छ भन्दै मैले प्रचार गरेँ।” BSB BSB: testifying to Jews and Greeks alike about repentance to God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 UDB “र अहिले मलाई पवित्र आत्माले स्पष्ट रूपमा देखाउनु भएको कारणले म यरूशलेम जाँदै छु, जहाँ म जानै पर्छ र मैले उहाँको आज्ञापालन गर्नै पर्छ। मलाई त्यहाँ के हुने हो मलाई थाहा छैन। BSB BSB: And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
23 UDB तर हरेक शहर जहाँ म गएँ, पवित्र आत्माले मलाई भन्नुभयो कि मानिसहरूले मलाई यरूशलेममा झ्यालखानमा हाल्नेछन्, र मैले दुःख भोग्नुपर्नेछ। BSB BSB: I only know that in town after town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions await me.
24 UDB तर यदि मैले प्रभु येशूले भन्नुभएको काम गरेर सिध्याउन सकेँ भने मानिसहरूले मलाई मारे पनि पर्वाह छैन। हामी जुन कुराका योग्य थिएनौँ त्यही काम गरेर परमेश्वरले हामीलाई बचाउनुहुन्छ भन्ने असल सन्देश सुनाउन उहाँले मलाई बोलाउनुभयो। BSB BSB: But I consider my life of no value to me, if only I may finish my course and complete the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus—the ministry of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
25 UDB परमेश्वरले आफूलाई कसरी राजाको रूपमा देखाउनुहुन्छ भन्ने बारेमा मैले तिमीहरूलाई सन्देश प्रचार गरेँ। तर मलाई अहिले थाहा छ, कि तिमी मेरा सङ्गी विश्वासीहरूले मलाई देख्ने आज यो अन्तिम पटक हो। BSB BSB: Now I know that none of you among whom I have preached the kingdom will see my face again.
26 UDB त्यसैले म चाहन्छु, कि मैले प्रचार गरेको सबैले बुझून्, र कुनै पनि व्यक्ति येशूलाई विश्वास नगरी मर्छ भने त्यसमा मेरो कुनै गल्ती छैन। BSB BSB: Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.
27 UDB कारण परमेश्वरले बनाउनु भएको आफ्नो योजना बारे मैले तिमीहरूलाई सबै कुरा भनिदिएको छु। BSB BSB: For I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole will of God.
28 UDB तिमी अगुवाहरूले परमेश्वरको वचनमा निरन्तर विश्वास गर र त्यसको पालना गर्दै रहो। तिमीहरूले अरू सबै विश्वासीहरूलाई पनि सहायता गर, जतिलाई पवित्र आत्माले तिमीहरूको हेरचाहमा छोड्नुभएको छ। जसरी गोठालोले आफ्नो र आफ्ना भेडाहरूको हेरचाह गर्छ, त्यसरी नै आफू र आफ्ना विश्वासीहरूको हेरचाह गर। कलवरीको क्रुसमा उहाँका पुत्रले बगाउनुभएको रगतद्वारा परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई किन्नुभयो। BSB BSB: Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.
29 UDB म गएपछि झूटा शिक्षा सिकाउनेहरू तिमीहरूकहाँ आउनेछन् र विश्वासीहरूलाई ठूलो हानि गर्नेछन्। यो कुरा मलाई थाहा छ। तिनीहरू भेडाहरूलाई मार्ने क्रूर ब्वाँसाहरू जस्तै हुनेछन्। BSB BSB: I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.
30 UDB यहाँसम्म कि तिम्रो आफ्नै अगुवाहरूको समूहमा पनि खराब कुरा सिकाएर विश्वासीहरूलाई झूटो बोल्नेहरू हुनेछन्। त्यस्ता किसिमका शिक्षाहरूमा विश्वास गरेर चेला बनून् भनेर तिनीहरू त्यो शिक्षा प्रचार गर्छन्। BSB BSB: Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them.
31 UDB त्यसैले जागा बस ताकि हाम्रा प्रभु येशूको साँचो सन्देशमा विश्वास गर्न तिमीहरूलाई कसैले नरोकोस्। तिमीहरूले यो कुराको सम्झना गर कि तिन वर्षसम्म दिन र रात मैले त्यो सन्देशको बारेमा सिकाएँ र येशूमा विश्वासयोग्य रहन आँशुका साथ चुनौती दिएँ।” BSB BSB: Therefore be alert and remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.
32 UDB “तिमीलाई सुरक्षा दिन र हामीलाई बचाउन उहाँले जे गर्नुभयो त्यो सन्देशमा विश्वास गरिरहनको लागि म परमेश्वरसँग विन्ती गर्छु, जसको योग्य हामी थिएनौँ। यदि मैले भनेको सन्देशमा निरन्तर रूपमा विश्वास गर्यौ भने तिमीहरू बलिया हुनेछौ र उहाँका मानिसहरूसँग परमेश्वरले गर्नुभएको प्रतिज्ञाअनुसार दिने असल कुराहरू परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई सदाक निम्ति दिनुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: And now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.
33 UDB मेरो बारेमा भन्नु पर्दा, आफ्नो कपडाको लागि मलाई कसैको रुपैँयापैसा चाहिँदैन। BSB BSB: I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.
34 UDB म र मेरा साथीहरूको आवश्यकताको लागि मैले आफ्नै हातले पैसा कमाउन परिश्रम गरेँ, सो तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ। BSB BSB: You yourselves know that these hands of mine have ministered to my own needs and those of my companions.
35 UDB जो खाँचोमा छन्, तिनीहरूलाई दिनको लागि तिमीहरूले कडा मेहनत गर्नुपर्छ भनी मैले जे गरेँ त्यसबाट मैले तिमीहरूलाई देखाएको छु। येशू आफैँले भन्नुभएको कुरा हामीले सम्झनु पर्छ, ‘त्यो मानिस आनन्दित हुन्छ जो अरूबाट लिनुभन्दा अरूलाई दिन्छ।‘” BSB BSB: In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
36 UDB बोलिसकेपछि पावलले सम्पूर्ण एल्डरहरूसँगै घुँडा टेकी प्रार्थना गरे। BSB BSB: When Paul had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.
37 UDB तिनीहरू सबै जना खुब रोए, र तिनीहरू पावललाई अँगालो हाले र म्वाँइ खाए। BSB BSB: They all wept openly as they embraced Paul and kissed him.
38 UDB मलाई तिमीहरूले फेरि देख्नेछैनौ भनेको कुराले तिनीहरूलाई धेरै निराश बनाएको थियो। तब तिनीहरू सबैजना उनीसँगै पानी जहाज भएको ठाउँसम्म गए। BSB BSB: They were especially grieved by his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship.
