1 UDB येशूले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मानिसलाई पाप गर्न परीक्षामा पार्ने कुराहरू निश्चय नै हुनेछन्, तर ती कुराहरू हुनलाई प्रेरणा दिने जो कसैलाई पनि कति डरलाग्दो हुनेछ! BSB BSB: Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2 UDB यदि कुनै व्यक्तिले जो आफ्नो विश्वासमा कमजोर हुन्छ त्यसलाई पाप गर्न प्रेरण दिन्छ भने त्यो व्यक्तिको घाँटीमा कसैले ठूलो ढुंगा बाँध्नु र त्यसलाई समुद्रमा फ्याक्नु असल हुनेछ। BSB BSB: It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4 UDB यदि उसले तिम्रो विरूद्धमा एकदिनमा सातचोटी पाप गर्छ भने पनि र यदि ऊ तिमीकहाँ हरेक पल्ट आउँछ र, ‘मैले जे गरें त्यसको लागि म दुखी छु,’ भन्छ भने तिमीले उसलाई निरन्तर क्षमा दिनुपर्छ।” BSB BSB: Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5 UDB त्यसपछि प्रेरितहरूले प्रभुलाई भने, “हामीलाई धेरै विश्वास दिनुहोस्!” BSB BSB: The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6 UDB प्रभुले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “यदि तिमीसँग यो सानो रायोको दानाको आकारको मात्र विश्वास छ भने पनि, तिमीले यो किम्बुको रूखलाई भन्नसक्छौ, ‘आफ्नो जराहरू सहित आफैँलाई जमिनबाट उखेल र आफैँलाई समुद्रमा रोप’, र त्यसले तिम्रो आज्ञा पालन गर्नेछ!” BSB BSB: And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

8 UDB त्यसको सटो, तिमीले उसलाई भन्नेछौ, ‘मेरो निम्ति खाना बना! त्यसपछि सेवा गर्दा तैंले लगाउने वस्त्र लगा र मेरो निम्ती खाना पस्की ता कि म खान र पिउन सक्छु! त्यसपछि तैंले खान र पिउन सक्छस्।’ BSB BSB: Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
9 UDB उसलाई गर्न भनेको काम गरेको निम्ती तिमीले आफ्नो सेवकलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछैनौ! BSB BSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
10 UDB यस गरी, जब परमेश्वरले जे तिमीलाई गर्न भन्नुभएको तिमीले त्यो सबै गरेका हुन्छौ, तब तिमीले भन्नुपर्छ, ‘हामी परमेश्वरका दासहरू मात्र हौं र उहाँबाट धन्यवाद पाउन योग्य हामी छैनौं। हामीले त उहाँले हामीलाई गर भन्नुभएका कुराहरू मात्र गरेका हौं।’” BSB BSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11 UDB जसै येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू यरूशलेम जाने बाटोमा हिंड्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, उहाँहरू सामरियाको इलाकाहरु र गालीलको बीचबाट भएर जाँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। BSB BSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12 UDB जसै येशू एउटा गाउँमा पस्नुभयो, दसजना कुष्ट रोगीहरू उहाँतिर आए तर केही पर नै खडा भए। BSB BSB: As He entered one of the villages, He was met by ten lepers. They stood at a distance
13 UDB तिनीहरूले ठूलो स्वरले भने, “येशू, मालिक, कृपागरी हामीमाथि दया गर्नुहोस्!” BSB BSB: and raised their voices, shouting, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 UDB जब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई देख्नुभयो, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जाओ र आफैँलाई पूजाहारीहरूकहाँ देखाओ।” यसैले तिनीहरू गए र जसै तिनीहरू जाँदैथिए तिनीहरू निको पारिए। BSB BSB: When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.

17 UDB त्यसपछि येशूले भन्नुभयो, “मैले दसजना कुष्टरोगीहरूलाई निको पारें। किन अरू नौजना फर्केर आएनन्? BSB BSB: “Were not all ten cleansed?” Jesus asked. “Where then are the other nine?
18 UDB यो परदेशी मानिस मात्र एकजना थियो जो परमेश्वरलाई धन्यवाद दिन फर्कियो; अरूहरू कोही पनि फर्केर आएन!” BSB BSB: Was no one found except this foreigner to return and give glory to God?”
19 UDB त्यसपछि उहाँले त्यो मानिसलाई भन्नुभयो, “उठ र आफ्नो बाटो लाग। परमेश्वरले तिमीलाई निको पार्नुभएको छ किनभने तिमीले ममा विश्वास गर्यौ।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
20 UDB एकदिन केही फारसीहरूद्वारा येशूलाई सोधियो, “कहिले परमेश्वरले हरेकमाथि राज्य गर्न सुरु गर्नुहुनेछ?” उहाँले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “त्यो त्यस्तो कुरा होइन जसलाई मानिसहरूका आफ्ना आँखाहरूले देख्न सक्नेछन्। BSB BSB: When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs.
21 UDB मानिसले भन्न सक्नेछैनन्, ‘हेर! उहाँले यहाँ राज्य गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ!’ वा ‘उहाँले त्यहाँ राज्य गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ!’ किनभने तिमीहरूले सोचे विपरीत, परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूका माझमा पहिले नै राज्य गर्न सुरु गरिसक्नुभएको छ।” BSB BSB: Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22 UDB येशूले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “त्यहाँ एउटा समय आउनेछ जतिबेला म, मानिसको पुत्रले, शक्तिशाली रूपमा राज्य गरिरहेको हेर्ने इच्छा तिमीहरूले गर्नेछौ। तर तिमीहरूले त्यो देख्नेछैनौ। BSB BSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23 UDB मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूलाई भन्नेछन्, ‘हेर, ख्रीष्ट त्यहाँ हुनुहुन्छ!’ वा तिनीहरूले भन्नेछन्, ‘हेर, उहाँ यहाँ हुनुहुन्छ!’ जब तिनीहरूले त्यसो भन्छन्, तिनीहरूले पछि नलाग। BSB BSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
24 UDB किनकि जब विजुली चम्किन्छ र आकाशको एक छेउदेखि अर्को छेउसम्म उज्यालो पार्छ, त्यो हरेकले देख्न सक्छन्। यसै गरी, जब म, मानिसको पुत्र फेरि आउँछु, मलाई हरेकले देख्नेछ। BSB BSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
25 UDB तर त्यो हुनुअघि, मैले धेरै किसिमले दु:ख भोग्नुपर्छ, र म मानिसहरूद्वारा तिरस्कृत हुनेछु। BSB BSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 UDB तर म, मानिसको पुत्र फेरि आउँदा, मानिसहरूले त्यस्तै कुराहरू गर्दै रहनेछन्, जस्तो नोआ बाँचेको समयमा मानिसहरूले गर्दैथिए। BSB BSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
27 UDB त्यो समयमा नोहा र तिनको परिवार ठूलो जहाजभित्र पस्ने दिनसम्म नै सदाझैँ मानिसहरूले खाए र पिए र सदाझैँ तिनीहरूले विवाह गरे। तर त्यसपछि बाडी आयो र जो जहाजभित्र थिएनन् तिनीहरू सबैलाई नाश गर्यो। BSB BSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 UDB यसरी नै, जब लोत सदोमको सहरमा बस्थे, त्यहाँका मानिसहरूले सदाझैँ खाए र पिए। तिनीहरूले सामानहरू किने र तिनीहरूले सामानहरू बेचे। तिनीहरूले सदाझैँ बाली लगाए र तिनीहरूले घरहरू बनाए। BSB BSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29 UDB तर लोतले सदोम छाडेको दिनमा आकाशबाट आगो र गन्धक झर्यो र त्यस सहरमा बसेका सबैलाई नाश गर्यो। BSB BSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 UDB यसरी नै, म, मानिसको पुत्र पृथ्वीमा फर्किंदा मानिसहरू तयार रहने छैनन्। BSB BSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31 UDB त्यस दिनमा, आफ्ना घरहरूबाट बाहिर भएकाहरू, तिनीहरूसँग भएका सबै थोकहरू घरभित्र छन् भने, ती लिनलाई भित्र जाने समय दिनुहुँदैन। यसरी नै, जो खेतमा काम गर्दै हुन्छन्, तिनीहरू कुनै कुरा लिनलाई फर्कंनुहुँदैन; तिनीहरू तुरन्तै भाग्नुपर्छ। BSB BSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
32 UDB लोतकी पत्नीलाई जे भयो त्यो याद गर! BSB BSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
33 UDB जो कोही उसको आफ्नै जिउने तरिकामा रहन्छ, त्यो मर्नेछ। तर मेरो निम्ति जो कोहीले उसको आफ्नै तरिकामा छोड्छ, त्यो सदासर्वदा बाँच्नेछ। BSB BSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34 UDB म तिमीहरूलाई यो भन्छु: त्यो रातमा जब म फर्कन्छु, एउटा खाटमा दुईजना मानिसहरू सुतिरनेछन्। एकजना जसले ममा विस्वास गर्छ त्यो लगिनेछ र अर्को एकजना पछि छोडिनेछ। BSB BSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
35 UDB दुईजना स्त्रीहरू एकसाथ जाँतोमा अन्न पिन्दै रहनेछन्; BSB BSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
36 UDB एकटालाई लगिनेछ र अर्कोलाई पछि छोडिनेछ।” BSB BSB: Not in the BSB
37 UDB उहाँका चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “प्रभु, यस्तो कहाँ हुनेछ?” उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “जहाँ सिनो हुन्छ, त्यसलाई खान गिद्धहरू जम्मा हुनेछन्।” BSB BSB: “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
