2 UDB येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “हो, तिमीले हेर्दै गरेका यी भवनहरू सुन्दर छन्, तर तिनीहरूका बारेमा म तिमीलाई केही कुरा भन्न चाहन्छु। तिनीहरू पूर्णरूपले नष्ट हुनेछन्। यो मन्दिर परिसरमा भएका कुनै ढुङ्गा पनि अर्को ढुङ्गामाथि रहनेछैन।” BSB BSB: “Do you see all these great buildings?” Jesus replied. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 UDB मन्दिरबाट उपत्यका पार गरेर उहाँहरू जैतुन डाँडामा पुग्नुभएपछि, येशू बस्नुभयो। उहाँको साथमा पत्रुस, याकूब, यूहन्ना र आन्द्रियास मात्र हुँदा, तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई सोधे, BSB BSB: While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
4 UDB “हामीलाई भन्नुहोस्, यी कुराहरू कहिले हुनेछन्? यी कुराहरू हुनै लागेका छन् भनी हामीलाई दर्शाउनलाई के हुनेछ?” BSB BSB: “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to be fulfilled?”
5 UDB येशूले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “होशियार रहो कि के हुनेछ भनी कसैले तिमीहरूलाई छल नगरोस्! BSB BSB: Jesus began by telling them, “See to it that no one deceives you.
6 UDB धेरैजना मानिसहरू आउनेछन् र मैले नै तिनीहरूलाई पठाएको हो भन्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले भन्नेछन्, ‘म नै ख्रीष्ट हुँ!’ तिनीहरूले धेरैजना मानिसहरूलाई छल गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: Many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many.
7 UDB जब युद्धहरू लड्दै गरेका सिपाहीहरूका आवाज तिमीहरू सुन्छौ, वा जब टाढा भएका लडाईंहरूका बारेमा तिमीहरू खबर सुन्छौ, चिन्तित नहोओ। यी कुराहरू निश्चय नै हुनेछन्। तर जब ती हुन्छन्, त्यो समयमा नै परमेश्वरले बनाउनुभएका सबै योजना उहाँले पुरा गर्नुहुनेछ भनी विचार नगर! BSB BSB: When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8 UDB विभिन्न देशहरूमा बसोबास गर्ने समूहहरू एकआपसमा युद्ध गर्नेछन्, र अनेकौं राजाहरू तथा नेताहरू एकआपसमा युद्ध गर्नेछन्। विभिन्न ठाउँहरूमा भुकम्पहरू जानेछन्, र अनिकालहरू हुनेछन्। यद्यपि, जब यी कुराहरू हुन्छन्, मानिसहरूले यतिबला मात्र दु:ख भोग्न सुरु गर्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले दुःख भोग्ने यी शुरुका कुराहरू बालक जन्माउन लागेकी स्त्रीले दुःख भोग्ने कुराको शुरुको प्रसव पीडा जस्तै हुनेछ। त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले झन् धेरै दु:ख भोग्नेछन्। BSB BSB: Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, as well as famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9 UDB त्यसबेला मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूलाई जे गर्नेछन् त्यसको निम्ति तयार रहो। तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई गिरफ्तार गर्नेछन् र अगुवाहरूका समूहहरूका सामु तिमीहरूको जाँच गर्नेछन्। मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूलाई विभिन्न सभाघरहरूमा पिट्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई उच्च सरकारी अधिकारीहरूको अपस्थितिमा जाँच गर्नेछन्। परिणामरूपमा, तिमीहरूले मेरो बारेमा तिनीहरूलाई बताउन सक्षम हुनेछौ। BSB BSB: So be on your guard. You will be delivered over to the councils and beaten in the synagogues. On My account you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.
10 UDB परमेश्वरले योजना गर्नुभएका हरेक कुरा उहाँले सिद्ध गर्नुअघि मेरा चेलाहरूले सबै जातिहरूमा भएका मानिसहरूलाई सुसमाचार घोषणा गर्नुपर्छ। BSB BSB: And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all the nations.
11 UDB जब मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूलाई गिरफ्तार गर्छन्, तिमीहरूले के भन्नुपर्ने हो भनी चिन्ता नगर। यसको सट्टामा त्यो समयमा परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूको मनमा जे हाल्नुहुन्छ सो भन। तब त्यो बोलीरहने तिमीहरू मात्र हुनेछैनौ। पवित्र आत्माले तिमीहरूद्वारा बोल्दै गर्नुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: But when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand what to say. Instead, speak whatever you are given at that time, for it will not be you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 UDB कोही दाजुभाइ तथा दिदीबहिनीले अरू दाजुभाइ तथा दिदीबहिनीलाई धोखा दिनेछन्। कोही बुबाहरूले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई धोखा दिनेछन्। कोही छोराछोरीले आफ्ना बुबाआमालाई धोखा दिनेछन् जसले गर्दा सरकारी कर्मचारीहरूले तिनीहरूकाो बुबाआमालाई मार्नेछन्। BSB BSB: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
13 UDB धेरैजसो मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नेछन् किनकि तिमीहरू मलाई विश्वास गर्छौ। तर तिमीहरू जसले आफ्नो जीवनको अन्त्यसम्म मलाई विश्वास गरिरहन्छौ त्यो बाँच्नेछ। BSB BSB: You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
14 UDB त्यो समयमा घृणित थोक मन्दिरमा प्रवेश गर्नेछ। त्यसले मन्दिरलाई अशुद्ध पार्नेछ र त्यसलाई त्यग्न मानिसहरूलाई प्रेरित गर्नेछ। जब तिमीहरूले त्यो नहुनुपर्ने ठाउँमा त्यसलाई देख्छौ, तिमीहरू तुरुन्तै भाग्नुपर्छ! 15 UDB आफ्नो घरदेखि बाहिर भएका मानिसहरू कुनै पनि थोक लिनको लागि आफ्नो घरभित्र पस्नु हुँदैन। BSB BSB: Let no one on the housetop go back inside to retrieve anything from his house.
16 UDB खेतमा काम गरिरहेका मानिसहरू थप लुगाहरू लिनको लागि आफ्नो घरतिर फर्कनुहुँदैन। BSB BSB: And let no one in the field return for his cloak.
17 UDB ती दिनहरूमा स्त्रीहरू जो गर्भवती हुनेछन् र स्त्रीहरू जसले आफ्ना शिशुहरूलाई स्तनपान गराउँदै हुनेछन् तिनीहरूप्रति म धेरै दुःखी छु, किनकि तिनीहरूलाई भाग्न अति गाह्रो हुनेछ! BSB BSB: How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
18 UDB ती दिनहरूमा मानिसहरूले असह्य किसिमले दु:ख भोग्नुपर्नेछ। सुरुमा परमेश्वरले संसारको सृष्टि गर्नुभएको समयदेखि अहिलेसम्म मानिसहरूले कहिल्यै पनि त्यस्तो दु:ख भोगेका छैनन्; र फेरि त्यसरी मानिसहरूले कहिल्यै पनि दु:ख भोग्नेुछैनन्। BSB BSB: Pray that this will not occur in the winter.
19 UDB यसैले यो कष्टपूर्ण समय हिउँदमा नपरोस् भनी प्रार्थना गर, जति बेला यात्रा गर्न असाध्ये कठिन हुनेछ। BSB BSB: For those will be days of tribulation unseen from the beginning of God’s creation until now, and never to be seen again.
20 UDB यदि मानिसहरूले धेरै दु:ख भोग्ने यो समयलाई परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले छोट्याउने निर्णय नगर्नुभएको भए, हरेक व्यक्तिको मृत्यु हुनेथियो। त उहाँले त्यो समयलाई छोटो पार्ने निर्णय गर्नुभएको छ किनकि आफूले छान्नुभएको मानिसहरूको बारेमा उहाँले फिक्री गर्नुहुन्छ। BSB BSB: If the Lord had not cut short those days, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has cut them short.
21 UDB त्यो समयमा मानिसहरूले झूटो बोलेर भन्नेछन् कि तिनीहरू नै ख्रीष्ट हुन्। र कोही परमेश्वरबाट आएका अगमवक्ताहरू हौं भनी दाबी गर्दै आउनेछन्। त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले धेरै किसिमकाो आश्चर्यकर्महरू गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.
22 UDB परमेश्वरले छान्नुभएका मानिसहरूलाई पनि तिनीहरूले छल गर्ने कोसिस गर्नेछन्। यसैले त्यो समयमा कसैले तिमीलाई यसो भन्छ, ‘हेर, ख्रीष्ट यहाँ छन्!’ वा कसैले भन्छ, ‘हेर उहाँ त्यहाँ हुनुहुन्छ!’ त्यो कुरालाई विश्वास नगर! BSB BSB: For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.
23 UDB सचेत रहो! याद गर कि यी हुनुभन्दा अघि नै मैले तिमीहरूलाई यी सबैको बारेमा चेतावनी दिएको छु! BSB BSB: So be on your guard; I have told you everything in advance.
24 UDB मानिसहरूले त्यसरी दुःख भोगेको समयपछि, सूर्य अँध्यारो हुनेछ, र चन्द्रमा चम्कनेछैन; BSB BSB: But in those days, after that tribulation: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
25 UDB ताराहरू आकाशबाट खस्नेछन्, र आकाशमा भएका सबै शक्तिशाली कुराहरू आफ्ना ठाउँबाट हट्नेछन्। BSB BSB: the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
26 UDB त्यसपछि म, मानिसको पुत्रलाई शक्तिशाली किसिमले र महिमित रूपमा बादलहरूमा आउँदै गरेको मानिसहरूले देख्नेछन्। BSB BSB: At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 UDB तब म आफ्ना स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई पठाउनेछु। परमेश्वरले चुन्नुभएका मानिसहरूलाई तिनीहरूले पृथ्वीका पल्लो छेउका हरेक ठाउँहरूबाट जम्मा गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
28 UDB अब तिमीहरूले अञ्जीरको रूखहरू कसरी बढ्छन् त्यसबाट केही कुरा सिक भन्ने इच्छा म गर्छु। जब तिनीहरूको हाँगाहरू कोमल हुन्छन् र पातहरू पलाउन सुरु हुन्छ, हाम्रो लागि गृष्म नजिकै छ भनी तिमीहरू जान्दछौ। BSB BSB: Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.
29 UDB त्यसरी नै, मैले भर्खरै भनेका कुराहरू भइहेको जब तिमीहरू देख्छौ, तिमीहरूले आफैले जान्नेछौ कि मेरो निम्ति फर्केर आउने समय अति नजिक छ। यो म अघिबाटै ढोकामा खडा भएको जस्तै हुनेछ। BSB BSB: So also, when you see these things happening, know that He is near, right at the door.
30 UDB यो कुरा मनमा राखः यी कुराहरू पूरा नभएसम्म यो पुस्ताको अन्त हुनेछैन। BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
31 UDB मैले अगमवाणी गरेको यी कुराहरू पूरा हुनेछन् भन्ने कुरामा तिमीहरू निश्चित हुन सक्छौ। पृथ्वी र आकाशमा भएका कुराहरू एक दिन नष्ट हुनेछन् तर मैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेका यी कुराहरू निश्चित रूपमा पूरा हुनेछन्। BSB BSB: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
33 UDB यसैले तयार रहो! सधैं सचेत रहो, किनकि जब यी सबै घटनाहरू हुन आउनेछन्, त्यो समय कतिबेला आउनेछ तिमीहरू जान्दैनौ! BSB BSB: Be on your guard and stay alert! For you do not know when the appointed time will come.
34 UDB टाढाको कुनै ठाउँको यात्रा गर्न चाहने एकजना मानिसले जब आफ्नो घर छोड्नै लागेको हुन्छ, तब तिनले आफ्ना सेवकहरूलाई घरको व्यवस्था गर्नुपर्छ भनी तिनीहरूलाई बताउँछन्। तिनले प्रत्येकलाई उसले गर्नुपर्ने काम बताउँछन्। त्यसपछि तिनले ढोकेलाई आफू फर्केर आउने समयको लागि तयार रहन भन्छन्। BSB BSB: It is like a man going on a journey who left his house, put each servant in charge of his own task, and instructed the doorkeeper to keep watch.
35 UDB त्यो मानिस सधैंँ तयार रहनुपर्छ, किनकि उसलाई आफ्नो मालिक साँझमा, मध्य रातमा, भाले बास्ने समयमा वा बिहान सबेरै कतिबेला फर्केर ीआउनेछन् भन्ने कुरा थाहा छैन। त्यसरी नै, तिमीहरू पनि सधैं तयार रहनुपर्छ, किनकि म कतिबेला फर्केरी आउनेछु भनी तिमीहरू जान्दैनौ। BSB BSB: Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will return—whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.
36 UDB यस्तो नहोस् कि म अचानक आउँदा, मैले तिमीहरूलाई तयारी अवस्थामा नभएको भेट्टाउनेछु्। BSB BSB: Otherwise, he may arrive without notice and find you sleeping.
37 UDB मैले तिमीहरू, मेरा चेलाहरूलाई भन्दै गरेका यी शब्दहरू म हरेकका लागि भन्दैछुः सधैं तयार रहो!” BSB BSB: And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Keep watch!”
