1 UDB अर्को समयमा येशूले गालील समुद्र किनारतिर मानिसहरूलाई सिकाउन सुरु गर्नुभयो। उहाँले शिक्षा दिंदै गर्नुहुँदा, उहाँको वरिपरी धेरै ठूलो भिड जम्मा भयो। उहाँ एउटा डुंगामा चड्नुभयो र पानीमा धकेल्नुभयो। त्यसपछि उहाँ डुंगामा बस्नुभयो जसले गर्दा उहाँले भिडसँग राम्ररी बोल्न सक्नुहुन्थ्यो। त्यसै समयमा, भिड चाहिं किनारमा पनिको नजीक थियो। BSB BSB: Once again Jesus began to teach beside the sea, and such a large crowd gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people crowded along the shore.
2 UDB त्यपछि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई धेरै दृष्टान्तहरू सिकाउनुभयो। उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउँदै गर्नुहुँदा, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्नुभयो: BSB BSB: And He taught them many things in parables, and in His teaching He said,
3 UDB “यो कुरा सुनः एकजना मानिस आफ्नो खेतमा केही बीउ छर्नलाई गयो। BSB BSB: “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed.
4 UDB उसले बीउहरू माटोमा छर्दैगर्दा, केही बीउ बाटोमा झरे। तब केही चराहरू आए र ती बीउलाई खाइदिए। BSB BSB: And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.
5 UDB अरू बीउ त्यस्तो जमीनमा झरे जहाँ चट्टानमाथि धेरै माटो थिएन। चाँडै नै बीउ उम्रे किनभने सूर्यले ओसिलो माटोलाई तुरून्तै न्यानो परिदियो जहाँ त्यति गहिरो थिएन। BSB BSB: Some fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow.
6 UDB तर भर्खरै उम्रेका विरुवामाथि टन्टलापुर घाम परेपछि, ती ओइलाए। त्यसपछि ती सुके किनकि तिनीहरूका जरा गहिरोमा थिएन। BSB BSB: But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
7 UDB उसले छर्दैगर्दा, अरू बीउ काँडेझाङ्को जरा भएको जमीनमा ाझरे। बीउ बढे तर काँडेझार पनि बढे र असल बिरूवाहरूलाई छोपिदिए। यसैले बिरूवाहरूले फल उब्जाएनन्। BSB BSB: Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop.
8 UDB तर उसले छर्दैगर्दा, अरू बीउ असल माटोमा पर्यो। परिणामस्वरूप, ती उम्रिए, ती राम्रोसँग बढे र त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले प्रशस्त अन्न उब्जाए। केही विरुवाहरूले त्यो मानिसले रोपेको बीउभन्दा तीस गुणा बढी उब्जाए। केहीले साठी गुणा बढी उब्जाए। केहीले सय गुणा बढी उब्जाए।” BSB BSB: Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprouted, grew up, and produced a crop—one bearing thirtyfold, another sixtyfold, and another a hundredfold.”
9 UDB तब येशूले भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले यो कुरा बुझ्न चाहन्छौ भने, मैले भर्खरै भनेको कुरालाई तिमीहरूले होशियारपूर्वक विचार गर्नुपर्छ।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 UDB पछि, जब बाह्र चेलाहरू र अरू नजिकका अनुयायीहरू मात्र उहाँसँग हुँदा, तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई दृष्टान्तहरूको बारेमा सोधे। BSB BSB: As soon as Jesus was alone with the Twelve and those around Him, they asked Him about the parable.
11 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “परमेश्वरले आफैंलाई कसरी राजाको रूपमा प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ भन्ने बारेको सन्देश म तिमीहरूका निम्ति व्याख्या गर्नेछु, तर अरूहरूको निम्ति म दृष्टान्तबाट बोल्नेछु। BSB BSB: He replied, “The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables,
12 UDB म जे गर्दैछु त्यो तिनीहरूले देख्दा, तिनीहरूले सिक्नेछैनन्। म जे भन्दैछु त्यो तिनीहरूले सुन्दा, तिनीहरूले बुझ्नेछैनन्। तिनीहरूले सिकेका र बुझेका भए, तिनीहरूले पाप गरेका थिए भनेर पश्चाताप गर्ने थिए र पाप गर्न छोड्ने निर्णय गर्ने थिए र परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई क्षमा दिनु हुनेथियो।” BSB BSB: so that, ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.’”
13 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई यो पनि भन्नुभयो, “के तिमीहरूले यो दृष्टान्त बुझ्दैनौ? त्यसो भए मैले तिमीहरूलाई अरू कुरा दृष्टान्तहरूमा सिकाउँदा तिमीहरूले कसरी बुझ्नेछौ? BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?
14 UDB मैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेको दृष्टान्तमा, बीउ छर्ने मानिसले परमेश्वरको सन्देश अरूहरूलाई सिकाउने व्यक्तिको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। BSB BSB: The farmer sows the word.
15 UDB केही मानिसहरू बाटो जस्तै हुन्छन् जहाँ केही बीउ परे्। जब तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्दछन्, शैतान तुरुन्तै आउँछ र तिनीहरूले जे सुनेका छन् त्यो तिनीहरूलाई बिर्सने बनाउँछ। BSB BSB: Some are like the seeds along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
16 UDB केही मानिसहरू त्यस्तो जमीन जस्तै हुन्छन् जहाँ चट्टानमाथि धेरै गहिरो माटो हुँदैन। जब तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन्, तिनीहरूले तुरुन्तै त्यो आनन्दसाथ ग्रहण गर्छन्। BSB BSB: Some are like the seeds sown on rocky ground. They hear the word and at once receive it with joy.
17 UDB तर, शन्देस गहिरोमा नबढेको कारणले तिनीहरू छोटो समयको लागि मात्र त्यसमा विश्वास गर्छन्। तिनीहरू गहिरो जराहरू नभएका विरुवाहरूो जस्तै हुन्छन्। तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको वचनमा विश्वास गरेको कारणले जब अरूहरूले तिनीहरूलाई नराम्रो व्यवहार गर्दछन् अथवा तिनीहरूलाई दुःख दिन्छन्, तब दुःख भोग्दै गरेका मानिसहरूले चाँडै नै परमेश्वरको शन्देसमा विश्वास गर्न छोड्छन्। BSB BSB: But they themselves have no root, and they remain for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.
18 UDB कोही मानिसहरू काँडेझार भएको जमीन जस्ता हुन्छन्। ती मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन्, BSB BSB: Others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word,
19 UDB तर तिनीहरू धनी हुने इच्छा गर्छन् र तिनीहरूले अरू धेरै कुराहरू प्राप्त गर्ने इच्छा गर्छन्। यसैले तिनीहरू आफूसित भएका कुराको मात्र चिन्ता गर्छन् र तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको शन्देसलाई बिर्सिदिन्छन् र तिनीहरूले जे कुराहरू गरून् भनी परमेश्वरको इच्छा हुन्छ त्यो तिनीहरू गर्दैनन्। BSB BSB: but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20 UDB तर कोही मानिसहरू असल माटोजस्तो हुन्छन्। तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको शन्देस सुन्छन् र तिनीहरूले त्यो ग्रहण गर्छन् र तिनीहरूले त्यो विश्वास गर्छन्, र तिनीहरूले जे कुराहरू गरून् भनी परमेश्वरको इच्छा हुन्छ त्यो तिनीहरू गर्छन्। तिनीहरू तीस, साठी वा सय गुणा बढी फल उब्जाउने असल विरुवाहरू जस्तै हुन्छन्।” BSB BSB: Still others are like the seeds sown on good soil. They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.”
21 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अर्को दृष्टान्त भन्नुूभयो, “मानिसहरूले निश्चय पनि दियो बाल्ने र त्यसपछि त्यसलाई केही कुराले छोपेर त्यसको ज्योतिलाई ढाक्ने उदेश्य राखेर त्यो घरभित्र ल्याएका हुँदैनन्। त्यसको साटोमा, तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई समदानमा राख्छन् जसले गर्दा त्यो ज्योति चम्कनेछ। BSB BSB: Jesus also said to them, “Does anyone bring in a lamp to put it under a basket or under a bed? Doesn’t he set it on a stand?
22 UDB त्यसरी नै, लुकाइएका कुराहरू- एकदिन हरेकले ती थाहा पाउनेछ, र गुप्तमा भएका कुराहरू- एकदिन हरेकले ती पूरा उज्यालोमा देख्नेछ। BSB BSB: For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought to light.
23 UDB तिमीहरूले यो कुरा बुझ्ने इच्छा गर्छौ भने, तिमीहरूले भर्खैर सुनेका कुरालाई ध्यानपूर्वक विचार गर्नुपर्छ।” BSB BSB: If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
24 UDB “मैले तिमीहरूलाई जे भनेको तिमीहरू सुन्छौ त्यसलाई ध्यानपूर्वक विचार गर। किनभने तिमीहरूले जुन नापको भाँडो प्रयोग गर्छौ, तिमीहरूलाई त्यही नापले दिइनेछ। BSB BSB: He went on to say, “Pay attention to what you hear. With the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and even more will be added to you.
25 UDB “किनभने कसैसँग अलिकति सुझबुझ छ भने, उसले झन् धेरै पाउनेछ। तर कसैसँग सुझबुझ भन्ने कुरा छैन भने, जति थोरै उसित भए पनि, त्योसमेत उसले गुमाउनेछ।” BSB BSB: For whoever has will be given more. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
26 UDB येशूले यो पनि भन्नुभयो, “जब परमेश्वरले आफैंलाई राजाको रूपमा प्रकट गर्न सुरु गर्नुहुन्छ, यो एकजना मानिस जस्तो हो जसले जमीनमा बीउ छरेको छ।” BSB BSB: Jesus also said, “The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground.
27 UDB त्यसपछि त्यो बीउको चिन्ता नगरी ऊ हरेक राती सुत्थ्यो र हरेक दिन उठ्थ्यो। त्यो समयमा बीउ यसरी उम्र्यो र बढ्यो जसलाई उसले बुझ्न सकेन। BSB BSB: Night and day he sleeps and wakes, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he knows not how.
28 UDB जमीनले आफैं फसल उब्जनी दियो। सुरुमा डाँठहरू देखापरे। त्यसपछि बालाहरू देखापरे। त्यसपछि बालाहरूभित्र पोटिला दानाहरू देखापरे। BSB BSB: All by itself the earth produces a crop—first the stalk, then the head, then grain that ripens within.
29 UDB अन्न पाक्ने बित्तिकै उसले त्यसको जम्मा गर्नलाई मानिसहरू पठायो किनभने त्यो अन्न जम्मा गर्ने समय थियो।” BSB BSB: And as soon as the grain is ripe, he swings the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
30 UDB येशूले तिनीहरूलाई अर्को दृष्टान्त भन्नुभयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “जब परमेश्वरले आफैंलाई राजाको रूपमा प्रकट गर्न सुरु गर्नुहुन्छ, यो के जस्तो हो? त्यसको वर्णन गर्न म कुन दृष्टान्त प्रयोग गरौ?” BSB BSB: Then He asked, “To what can we compare the kingdom of God? With what parable shall we present it?
31 UDB यो रायोको बीउजस्तै हो। जब हामी रायोको बीउ छर्छौं, तब के हुन्छ तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ। बीउमध्ये रायोको बीउ सबभन्दा सानो हुन्छ, तापनि तिनीहरू ठूला बोटहरू हुन्छन्। BSB BSB: It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds sown upon the earth.
32 UDB तिनीहरूलाई छरेपछि, तिनीहरू बढ्छन् र तरकारी बारीका अन्य विरुवाहरूभन्दा ठूला हुन्छन्। तिनीहरूमा ठूला हाँगाहरू पलाउँछन् जसले गर्दा तिनीहरूका छहारीमा चराहरूले गुँडहरू बनाउन सक्छन्।” BSB BSB: But after it is planted, it grows to be the largest of all garden plants and puts forth great branches, so that the birds of the air nest in its shade.”
33 UDB येशूले मानिसहरूलाई परमेश्वरको वचन सिकाउनुहुँदा, उहाँले धेरैवटा दृष्टान्तहरूको प्रयोग गर्नुभयो। तिनीहरूले केही दृष्टान्तहरू बुझे भने, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अझै धेरै भन्दै जानुहुन्थ्यो। BSB BSB: With many such parables Jesus spoke the word to them, to the extent that they could understand.
34 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूसँग बोल्नुहुँदा, उहाँले सधैं दृष्टान्तहरूको प्रयोग गर्नुभयो। तर उहाँका आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भने, उहाँ तिनीहरूसँग छुट्टै हुनुहुँदा उहाँले सबै दृष्टान्तहरू बुझ्नलाई व्याख्या गर्नुभयो। BSB BSB: He did not tell them anything without using a parable. But privately He explained everything to His own disciples.
35 UDB त्यहीो दिनमा, जब घाम अस्ताउँदै थियो, येशूले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “हामीहरू समुद्र तरेर तालको अर्कोपट्टी किनारमा जऔं।” BSB BSB: When that evening came, He said to His disciples, “Let us cross to the other side.”
37 UDB तज हावाहुरी चल्यो र छालहरू डुंगाभित्र आउन थाले! चाँडै नै डुंगा पानीले भरिनै लाग्यो। BSB BSB: Soon a violent windstorm came up, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was being swamped.
38 UDB येशू डुंगाको पछाडीपट्टि हुनुहुन्थ्यो। सिरानीमा आफ्नो टाउको राखेर उहाँ सुत्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। यसैले तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई उठाए र उहाँलाई भने, “गुरुज्यू! हामी मर्न लागेकोमा के तपाईंलाई कुनै चिन्ता छैन?” BSB BSB: But Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him and said, “Teacher, don’t You care that we are perishing?”
39 UDB यसैले येशू उठ्नुभयो र हावाहुरीलाई हप्काउनु भयो र उहाँले समुद्रलाई भन्नुभयो, “चुप लाग! शान्त हो!” हावाहुरी चल्न छोड्यो र त्यसपछि समुद्र पूरै शान्त भयो। BSB BSB: Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm.
40 UDB उहाँले चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरू किन डराउँछौ? तिमीहरूसँग अझै पनि विश्वास छैन?” BSB BSB: “Why are you so afraid?” He asked. “Do you still have no faith?”
41 UDB तिनीहरू भयभीत थिए। तिनीहरूले एक अर्कामा भने, “उहाँ को हुनुहुन्छ? हावाहुरी र छालहरूले पनि उहाँकाो आज्ञा मान्छन्!” BSB BSB: Overwhelmed with fear, they asked one another, “Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”
