3 UDB केही फरिसीहरू उहाँको नजीक आए र उहाँलाई भने, “के हाम्रो यहूदी व्यवस्थाले एकजना मानिसलाई आफ्नो श्रीमतीसँग त्यागपत्र दिने अनुमति दिन्छ?” उहाँसँग विवाद गर्ने उदेश्यले तिनीहरूले त्यो प्रश्न सोधे। BSB BSB: Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
5 UDB त्यसले स्पष्ट हुन्छ कि परमेश्वरले किन सृष्टि गर्नुभयो, ‘त्यसकारणले एकजना पुरुषले आफ्ना बुबा आमालाई छोड्छ र आफ्नी श्रीमतीलाई विवाह गर्छ।’ तिनीहरू दुवैजना एकै व्यक्तिजस्तो गरी एकसाथ तिनीहरू बस्नेछन् BSB BSB: and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
7 UDB त्यसपछि परिसीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “त्यो सत्य हो भने, मोशाले किन आज्ञा दिए कि आफ्नी श्रीमतीसँग त्यगपत्र दिन इच्छा गर्ने मानिसले तिनलाई उसले त्यगपत्र दिने कारण लेखेर त्यगपत्र दिन दिनुपर्छ, र त्यसपछि तिनलाई पठाउनुपर्छ?” BSB BSB: “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
9 UDB म तिमीहरूलाई जोडदाररूपमा भन्दैछु, कुनै पुरुषले, उसको श्रीमतीले व्यभिचार नगरेको अवस्थामा, आफ्नी श्रीमतीलाई त्यगपत्र दिन्छ र अर्की स्त्रीसँग विवाह गर्छ भने, परमेश्वरको विचारमा त्यसले व्यभिचार गर्छ।” BSB BSB: Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
11 UDB उहाँले उत्तर दिनुभयो, “हरेक पुरुषले यो शिक्षालाई स्वीकार गर्न सक्तैन, परमेश्वरले स्वीकार गर्न सक्षम बनाउनुभएको पुरुषहरूले मात्र स्वीकार गर्न सक्छन्। BSB BSB: “Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given.
13 UDB त्यसपछि येशूले साना बालबलिकमा आफ्नो हात राखेर तिनीहरूका निम्ति उहाँले प्रार्थना गरिदिनुहुनेछ भनी तिनीहरूलाई उहाँकहाँ ल्याइयो। तर त्यसो गरेकोमा चेलाहरूले मानिसहरूलाई झपारे। BSB BSB: Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 UDB येशूले भन्नुभयो, “बालबालिकालाई मकहाँ आउन देऊ, र तिनीहरूलाई नरोक! स्वर्गको परमेश्वरको राज्य यिनीहरूजास्तै नम्र र विश्वासयोग्य मानिसहरू हो।” BSB BSB: But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
15 UDB त्यसपछि येशूले बालबालिकालाई आशीर्वाद दिनलाई तिनीहरूमा आफ्नो हात राख्नुभयो। तब उहाँले त्यो ठाउँ छोड्नुभयो। BSB BSB: And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.
16 UDB येशू हिंड्दै गर्नुहुँदा, एकजना जवान मानिस उहाँको नजीक आए र उहाँलाई सोधे, “गुरुज्यू, परमेश्वरसँग सदासर्वदा बास गर्नको लागि मैले के असल कामहरू गर्नुपर्छ?” BSB BSB: Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?”
17 UDB येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीले मलाई के असल हो भनेर किन सोध्दैछौ? एकजना मात्र असल हुनुहुन्छ र असल के हो साँच्चै जान्नुहुन्छ। उहाँ परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। तर परमेश्वरसँग सदासर्वदा बस्ने इच्छाको बारेमा भएको तिम्रो प्रश्नको जवाफ दिनको निम्ति परमेश्वरले मोशालाई दिनुभएको आज्ञाहरू पालन गर्न म तिमीलाई भन्छु।” BSB BSB: “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 UDB त्यस मानिसले येशूलाई सोध्यो, “कुनकुन आज्ञाहरूलाई मैले पालन गर्नुपर्छ?” येशूले उसलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “कुनै व्यक्तिको हत्या नगर, व्यभिचार नगर, चीजबीजहरू चोरी नगर, झुटा गवाही नदेऊ, BSB BSB: “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness,
19 UDB आफ्नो बुबा र आफ्नो आमाको आदर गर, र आफैंलाई प्रेम गरेजस्तै हरेक अर्को व्यक्तिलाई प्रेम गर।” BSB BSB: honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 UDB ती जवान मानिसले येशूलाई भने, “यी सबै आज्ञाहरू मैले सधैँ पालन गरेको छु। परमेश्वरसँग सदासर्वदा बस्नको लागि मैले अरू के गर्नुपर्छ?” BSB BSB: “All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?”
21 UDB येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमी जस्तो भएको परमेश्वरले इच्छा गर्नुहुन्छ तिमी ठीक तेस्तै हुने इच्छा गर्छौ भने, घर जाऊ, तिमीसँग भएका सबै कुरा बेच, र त्यो पैसा गरीब मानिसहरूलाई देऊ। परिणाम यो हुनेछ कि तिमी स्वर्गमा धनी हुनेछौ। त्यसपछि आऊ, मेरो पछि लाग, र मेरो चेला बन!” BSB BSB: Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22 UDB जब त्यो जवानले ती शब्दहरू सुने, तिनी उदास भएर गए, किनभने तिनी धेरै धनी थिए र आफूसित भएका सबै कुरा दिने इच्छा गरेनन्। BSB BSB: When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
23 UDB त्यसपछि येशूले चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यो कुरालाई ध्यान देओः धनी मानिसहरूलाई आफ्नो जीवनमा परमेश्वरलाई राज्य गर्न दिन सहमत हुनु धेरै कठिन छ। BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 UDB यो पनि ध्यान देओः ऊँटलाई सियोको नाथ्रीबाट छिर्नु असम्भव हुन्छ। धनी मानिसहरूलाई परमेश्वरको राज्यको अधीनमा आउनु झन् धेरै कठिन हुन्छ।” BSB BSB: Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 UDB जब चेलाहरूले यो सुने, तिनीहरू धेरै छक्क परे। परमेश्वरले धनी मानिसहरूलाई सबभन्दा धेरै आशिष् दिनुहुन्छ भन्ने तिनीहरूको विचार थियो। यसैले तिनीहरूले येशूलाई भने, “त्यसो हो भने, कसैले पनि उद्धार पाउन सम्भव हुनेछ जस्तो लाग्दैन!” BSB BSB: When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 UDB तब येशूले तिनीहरूलाई ध्यान दिएर हेर्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “हो, मानिसहरूका लागि आफैँलाई बचाउनु असम्भव कुरा हो। तर परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउन सक्नुहुन्छ, किनभने परमेश्वरले सबै कुरा गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ!” BSB BSB: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 UDB त्यसपछि पत्रुसले उहाँलाई भने, “तपाईंलाई जान्नुहुन्छ कि हामीले सबै कुरा त्यागेका छौं र तपाईंको चेला हुनको निम्ति तपाईंको पछि लागेका छौं। यसैले त्यसो गर्दा हामीलाई के फाइदा हुन्छ?” BSB BSB: “Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?”
28 UDB येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यो कुरा ध्यान देओः तिमीहरूले धेरै फाइदाहरू पाउनेछौ। जब परमेश्वरले नयाँ पृथ्वी बनाउनुहुनेछ र जब म, मानिसको पुत्र, मेरो महिमामा मेरो सिंहासनमा बस्नेछु, तब तिमीहरू जो मेरो साथमा आएका छौ, हरेक नै सिंहासनमा बस्नेछौ, र तिमीहरूले इस्राएलका बाह्र कूलका मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्नेछौ। BSB BSB: Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 UDB तिनीहरू मेरा चेलाहरू भएको कारणले, जसले घर, वा जमीिनको अंश, आफ्ना दाजुभाइ, आफ्ना दिदीबहिनी, आफ्नो बुबा, आफ्नो आमा, आफ्ना छोराछोरी, वा परिवारकाो अन्य सदस्यहरू छाडे, परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई इनाम दिनुहुनेछ। तिनीहरूले त्यागेका भन्दा परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई सयौँ गुणा धेरै बढी फइदाहरू दिनुहुनेछ। र तिनीहरू सदासर्वदा परमेश्वरसँग बास गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
30 UDB तर धेरै मानिसहरू जो अहिले यस जीवनमा प्रतिष्ठित छन्, भविष्यको त्यो समयमा प्रतिष्ठारहित हुनेछन्, र धेरै मानिसहरू जो अहिले प्रतिष्ठारहित छन् भविष्यको त्यो समयमा प्रतिष्ठित हुनेछन्।” BSB BSB: But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
