1 UDB हरेक विश्वासीले सरकारी अधिकारीहरूको आज्ञा मान्नुपर्छ। अधिकारीहरूलाई तिनीहरूका अधिकार दिने परमेश्वर नै हुनुहुन्छ भनी याद गर। यसका अतिरिक्त, विद्यमान अधिकारीहरू परमेश्वरद्वारा नियुक्त गरिएका हुन्छन्। BSB BSB: Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. 9 UDB परमेश्वरले आफ्नो व्यवस्थामा धेरै कुराहरूको आज्ञा दिनुभएको छ, जस्तो, व्यभिचार नगर, कसैको हत्या नगर, नचोर र अरू कसैको कुनै कुराको लालच नगर। तर सबै व्यवस्थाको अर्थलाई यो वाक्यमा समेट्न सकिन्छः “तैंले आफैंँलाई प्रेम गरे जस्तै आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई प्रेम गर।” BSB BSB: The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

11 UDB हामीहरूले अहिले जीवन बिताउँदै गरेको समय कति महत्त्वपूर्ण छ भनी तिमीहरूले जानेको हुनाले, मैले तिमीहरूलाई भर्खरै भनेको कुरा गर। यो निन्द्राबाट व्युँझेका मानिसहरू जस्तै, तिमीहरू पूर्ण रूपमा जाग्ने र सक्रिय हुने समय हो भनी तिमीहरू जन्दछौ, किनभने ख्रीष्टले हामीलाई यस संसारका पाप र दुःखबाट अन्ततः छुटकारा दिनुहुने समय नजिक छ। हामीले शुरुमा ख्रीष्टमा विश्वास गरेकोा भन्दा त्यो समय झन् नजीक छ। BSB BSB: And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
12 UDB हामीले यस संसारमा जीउने समय करीब सकिएको छ, जस्तो रात लगभग सकिएको छ। ख्रीष्ट फर्केर आउनुहुने समय नजीक छ। यसैले मानिसहरूले रातमा गर्न मन पराउने दुष्ट कामहरू गर्ने हामीले बन्द गर्नुपर्छ, र सिपाहीहरूले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूको सामना गर्न दिनको समय आफ्ना हतियार बोकेर तयारी भएको जस्तै, हामीलाई खराबको सामना गर्न मद्धत पुग्ने कुराहरू हामीले गर्नुपर्छ। BSB BSB: The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. 13 UDB ख्रीष्ट फर्केर आउनुहुने समय भैसकेको जस्तै, हामीले उचित किसिमले व्यवहार गर्नुपर्छ। हामीले मदिरा पिउनु र अरूहरूसँग खराब कुराहरू गर्नु हुँदैन। हामीले कुनै किसिमको यौनजन्य अनैतिक वा जङ्गली कामवासनाको व्यवहार गर्नुहुँदैन। हामीले झगडा गर्नुहुँदैन। हामीले अरू मानिसहरूको डाहा गर्नुहुँदैन। BSB BSB: Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
