2 UDB ख्रीष्टले हाम्रा निम्ति जे गर्नुभएको छ त्यो कारणले, जहाँ परमेश्वर हामीसँग दयालु हुनुहुनेछ त्यहाँ जानलाई उहाँले हामीलाई एउटा ढोका खोल्नुभएको जस्तो छ। यसैले हामी आनन्दित हुन्छौं किनभने हामी दृढतासाथ आशा गर्दैर्छौं कि परमेश्वरले हामीसँग आफ्नो महानता खुशीसाथ बाँड्नुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3 UDB हामी ख्रीष्टसँग मिलापमा भएका कारणले जब हामी कष्ट भोग्छौं, तब हामी आनन्दित पनि हुन्छौं, किनभने हामीले कष्ट भोग्दैगर्दा, हामीले धैर्यतापूर्वक कुराहरू सहन सिक्दैछौं भनी हामी जान्दछौं। BSB BSB: Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 UDB र जब हामी कष्टलाई धैर्यतापूर्वक सहन्छौं, परमेश्वरले हामीलाई ग्रहण गर्नुहुन्छ भनी हामी जान्दछौं। र जब परमेश्वरले हामीलाई ग्रहण गर्नुहुन्छ भनी हामी जान्दछौं, तब उहाँले हाम्रा निम्ति महान कुराहरू गर्नुहुन्छ भनी हामी दृढतापूर्वक आशा गर्छौं। BSB BSB: perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 UDB र हामीले प्रतिक्षा गर्ने कुराहरू प्राप्त गर्नेछौं भनी हामी धेरै दृढ हुन्छौं, किनभने परमेश्वरले हामीलाई धेरै प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ। उहाँले हामीलाई दिनुभएको पवित्र आत्माले, परमेश्वरले हामीलाई कति प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ भनी हामीलाई बझाउनुहुन्छ। BSB BSB: And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
7 UDB एकजना व्यक्ति धर्मी नै भए पनि अर्को व्यक्तिको निम्ति मर्नलाई सायदै तयार होला, यद्यपि असल व्यक्तिको निम्ति मर्नलाई कोही साहसी हुन सक्ला। BSB BSB: Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
8 UDB तापनि, परमेश्वरको सम्बन्धमा, उहाँले हामीलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ भनी उहाँले हामीलाई यसरी देखाउनुभयो कि हामीले परमेश्वरको विरूद्धमा विद्रोह गरिरहेकै समयमा ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा निम्ति मर्नुभयो। BSB BSB: But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 UDB यसैले यो अझै बढी निश्चित कुरा हो कि पापको बारेमा भएको परमेश्वरको क्रोधबाट ख्रीष्टले हामीलाई बचाउनुहुनेछ, किनकि ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा निम्ति मर्नुभएको र हाम्रा पापहरूका निम्ति आफ्नो रगत बगाउनुभएको हुनाले हामी परमेश्वरमा धर्मी ठहरिएका छौं। BSB BSB: Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him!
10 UDB हामी परमेश्वरका शत्रुहरू हुँदा नै, उहाँले हामीलाई आफ्ना मित्रहरू बनाउनुभयो, किनभने उहाँका पुत्र हाम्रा निम्ति मर्नुभयो। ख्रीष्ट फेरि जीवित हुनुभएको कारणले, ख्रीष्टले हामीलाई बचाउनुहुनेछ भन्ने कुरा झन् बढी पक्का छ। BSB BSB: For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!
11 UDB त्यति मात्र होइन! अब हामी आनन्द गर्छौं किनभने हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टले हाम्रा निम्ति जे गर्नुभएको छ त्यो कारणले हामी परमेश्वरका मित्रहरू बनाइएका छौं। BSB BSB: Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
13 UDB परमेश्वरले मोशालाई आफ्नो व्यवस्था दिनुभन्दा अघि नै संसारका मानिसहरूले पाप गरे तर व्यवस्था विरूद्धको पाप चिन्ने कुनै उपाय थिएन। BSB BSB: For sin was in the world before the law was given; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
14 UDB तर हामीलाई थाहा छ कि आदमले जीवन बिताएको समयदेखि मोशाले जीवन बिताएको समयसम्म, सबै मानिसहरूले पाप गरे र त्यसको परिणामस्वरूप तिनीहरूको मृत्यु भयो। हरेक व्यक्तिको, आदमलेझैं परमेश्वरको आज्ञा सिधा रूपमा उल्लङ्घन नगर्नेहरूको पनि मृत्यु भयो। आदमको पापले सबै मानिसहरूलाई प्रभावित पार्यो, जसरी पछि आउनुभएको ख्रीष्टले गर्नुभएको कामले सबै मानिसलाई प्रभावित पार्छ। BSB BSB: Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who did not sin in the way that Adam transgressed. He is a pattern of the One to come.
15 UDB तर परमेश्वरले दिनुहुने वरदान आदमको पाप जस्तो होइन। आदमले पाप गरेको कारणले हरेक व्यक्तिको मृत्यु हुन्छ। तर अर्को एकलो मानिस, येशू ख्रीष्ट, हामी सबैको निम्ति मर्नुभएको कारणले, परमेश्वरले हामीलाई दया गरेर अनन्त जीवनको वरदान दिनुहुन्छ, यद्यपि हामी यो प्राप्त गर्न योग्यका छैनौं। BSB BSB: But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many!
16 UDB र अर्को किसिमले पनि परमेश्वरको वरदान आदमको पापभन्दा भिन्दै छ। आदमले पाप गरेको कारणले, तिनीपछिका सबै मानिसहरूले पाप गरेका छन्, र यसैले सबै मानिसहरू दण्डको योग्य छन् भनी परमेश्वरले घोषणा गर्नुभयो। तर दयाको वरदान स्वरूप, परमेस्वरले हामीलाई धर्मी ठहराउनुहुन्छ। BSB BSB: Again, the gift is not like the result of the one man’s sin: The judgment that followed one sin brought condemnation, but the gift that followed many trespasses brought justification.
17 UDB एकजना मानिस आदमले जे गरे त्यो कारणले सबै मानिसहरूको मृत्यु हुन्छ। तर अब हामीहरूमध्ये धेरैले अनुभव गर्छौं कि परमेश्वरले हामीलाई दया गरेर एउटा महान वरदान दिनुभएको छ– जसको निम्ति हामी योग्य छैनौं --उहाँले हामीलाई धर्मी ठहराउनु भएको छ। यो पनि पक्का हो कि हामी ख्रीष्टसँगै स्वर्गमा राज्य गर्नेछौंँ। एकजना मानिस, येशू ख्रीष्टले हाम्रा निम्ति जे गर्नुभयो, त्यो कारणले यो हुनेछ। BSB BSB: For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
19 UDB एकजना मानिस, आदमले परमेश्वरको आज्ञा पालन नगरेको कारणले धेरैजना मानिसहरू पापीहरू भए। त्यसरी नै, एकजना मानिस, येशू मर्नुहुँदा उहाँले परमेश्वरको आज्ञा पालन गर्नुभयो जसले गर्दा उहाँले धेरै जनालाई धर्मी ठहराउनु हुनेछ। BSB BSB: For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
21 UDB उहाँले त्यो यस हेतुले गर्नुभयो कि, मानसिहरूले पाप गरेको कारणले तिनीहरूको मृत्यु हुनुभन्दा फरक, उहाँको दयाको वरदानले तिनीहरूलाई उहाँले धर्मी ठहराउन सक्नुहुन्छ। तब हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टले तिनीहरूको निम्ति जे गर्नुभएको छ त्य कारणले तिनीहरू सदासर्वदा जिउन सक्नेछन्। BSB BSB: so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
