2 UDB ସେତେବେଳ ହଠାତ୍ ଆକାଶରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଭୀଷଣ ଝଡ଼ ବହିବା ପରି ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣାଗଲା। ଘର ଭିତରେ ବସିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହି ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣିଲେ I BSB BSB: Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 UDB ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ପରି କିଛି ଦେଖିଲେ। ଏହି ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖାସବୁ ଭାଗ ଭାଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା I ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କଲା। BSB BSB: They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 UDB ସମସ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲେ। ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପାଉଥିବା ଶକ୍ତି ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନେ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭାଷାରେ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ I BSB BSB: And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
5 UDB ସେହି ସମୟରେ ପୃଥିବୀର ସବୁ ଦେଶରୁ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଭକ୍ତମାନେ ଆସି ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ରହୁଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରୁଥିଲେ I ସେମାନେ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ଦେଶରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ I BSB BSB: Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
7 UDB ଏଥିରେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ପରସ୍ପର ମଧ୍ୟରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଲେ," ଦେଖ, ଏହିପରି କଥା କହିଥିବା ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଗାଲିଲୀର ନୁହନ୍ତି କି? ଏମାନେ କିପରି ଆମର ଭାଷା ଜାଣିଲେ? BSB BSB: Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

12 UDB ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇ କ’ଣ ଘଟୁଛି ତାହା ଜାଣି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେମାନେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, "ଏ ସବୁ କ'ଣ? BSB BSB: Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ସେସବୁ ଦେଖି ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାସ କରି କହିଲେ, "ଏମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମଦ ପିଇ ମାତାଲ ହୋଇ ଏପରି କରୁଛନ୍ତି।" BSB BSB: But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”

17 UDB "ଶେଷ ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୋର ଆତ୍ମା ଢ଼ାଳି ଦେବି। ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୁଅ ଝିଅମାନେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ବାଣୀ କହିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯୁବକମାନେ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇବେ ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକମାନେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିବେ। BSB BSB: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
18 UDB ହଁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ସେବକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିଜ ଆତ୍ମା ଢ଼ାଳି ଦେବି, ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତବାଣୀ କହିବେ। BSB BSB: Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
19 UDB ମୁଁ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ଆକାଶରେ ବିସ୍ମୟଜନକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ନୀଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ରକ୍ତ ନିଆଁ ମେଘ, ଧୂଆଁର ଚିହ୍ନମାନ ଦେଖାଇବି। ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀ ରକ୍ତ, ଅଗ୍ନି, ଓ ଧୂଆଁରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବ I BSB BSB: I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 UDB ଆକାଶରେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ଧକାରମୟ ଓ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ରକ୍ତ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦେଖାଯିବ। ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିଚାର ଦିନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏହି ସବୁ ଘଟିବ I BSB BSB: The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
21 UDB ଏବଂ ସେତେବେଳ ଯେ କେହି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ଡାକିବ, ସେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବ। BSB BSB: And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
24 UDB ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବରଣ କଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପୁଣି ଉଠାଇଲେ। ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ। ଈଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବିତ କଲେ I BSB BSB: But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.
25 UDB ଦାଉଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଥିଲେ, ବହୁ ବର୍ଷ ପୂର୍ବେ ଯାହା ଯୀଶୁ କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା ଦାଉଦ ଲେଖିଥିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ସର୍ବଦା ମୋର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି I ସେ ମୋ ପାଖରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ମୋର କ୍ଷତି କରିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବି ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
26 UDB ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋର ମନ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲିତ ହେଲା ଓ ମୁଁ ଆନନ୍ଦ କଲି। ଯଦିଓ ଦିନେ ମୁଁ ମରିବି, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ତୁମେ ମତେ ସର୍ବଦା ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବ I BSB BSB: Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,
27 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋର ଶରୀରକୁ କବରରେ କ୍ଷୟ ହେବାକୁ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ ପ୍ରତି ସମର୍ପିତ ଓ ସର୍ବଦା ତୁମର ବାଧ୍ୟ ଅଟେ I BSB BSB: because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.
28 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଜୀବନର ପଥ ଦେଖାଇଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପସ୍ଥିତରେ ମୋତେ ବହୁତ ଆନନ୍ଦ ମିଳେ। BSB BSB: You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’
29 UDB " ହେ ମୋର ଯିହୁଦୀ ଭାଇମାନେ, ମୁଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସର ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିପାରିବି। ସେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବରଣ କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦିଆଯାଇଛି, ଏବଂ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଏହି କବର ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅଛି। BSB BSB: Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

31 UDB ଏଣୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ଯାହା ଘଟିବ, ତାହା ଦାଉଦ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଜାଣିପାରିଥିଲେ I ଈଶ୍ୱର ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦେହ କବରରେ ପଚିସଢ଼ି ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଦେଲେନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.
32 UDB ଏହି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିଛୁ ଓ ସେଥିର ନିଜେ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଅଟୁ। BSB BSB: God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.
33 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଡ଼ାହାଣ ପଟେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ପରମପିତା ଆମକୁ ପବିତ୍ରଆତ୍ମା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହା ଦେଖୁଅଛ ଓ ଶୁଣୁଅଛ। BSB BSB: Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
34 UDB ଆମେ ଜାଣୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେପରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗାରୋହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଦାଉଦ ସେପରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗାରୋହଣ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି। ଦାଉଦ ନିଜେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଛନ୍ତି: ଯୀଶୁ ମସୀହ ଅଟନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand
35 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ," ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାଦ ତଳକୁ ନ ଆଣିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋର ଡ଼ାହାଣ ପଟେ ବସିଥାଅ।" BSB BSB: until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
36 UDB ପିତର ଏପରି କହି ଶେଷ କଲେ," ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହା ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଜାଣନ୍ତୁ ଯେ, ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ବିଦ୍ଧ କରିଛ, ଈଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ମସୀହ ପଦରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।" BSB BSB: Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”
37 UDB ଯେତେବେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ପିତର ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ନିଜର ଭୁଲ ଜାଣି ପାରିଲେ I ସେମାନେ ପିତର ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, "ଭାଇମାନେ, ଆମେ କ'ଣ କରିବା?" BSB BSB: When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 UDB ପିତର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ ଓ ଜୀବନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯଦି ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ଵାସ କର ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେବା I ଯୀଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ଏବଂ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ରଆତ୍ମା ଦାନ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦୂରରେ ଥାଇ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଈଶ୍ୱର ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଦେବେ I BSB BSB: This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
40 UDB ପିତର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚେତନା ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, "ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର ଯେପରି ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଚାର କରିବା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ।" BSB BSB: With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”
41 UDB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଏହି କଥା ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ସେମାନେ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହେଲେ। ସେଦିନ ସେହି ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀଦଳ ସହିତ ଆହୁରି ପ୍ରାୟ ତିନି ହଜାର ଲୋକ ଯୋଗ ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.
43 UDB ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଅତି ଭକ୍ତି କଲେ କାରଣ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବହୁତ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଓ ବହୁତ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
44 UDB ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଏକାଠି ରହିଲେ ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଏକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଥିଲା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ଯାହା ସବୁଥିଲା, ସେଥିରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଭାଗୀଦାର ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: All the believers were together and had everything in common.
45 UDB ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜର ସବୁ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଓ ଜିନିଷପତ୍ର ବିକ୍ରୀ କରୁଥିଲେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅନୁସାର ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦେଉଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
46 UDB ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସେମାନେ ଏକାଠି ହୋଇ ଉପାସନା ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଭେଟୁଥିଲେ। ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଏକ ଥିଲା। ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଘରେ ଏକତ୍ର ଖାଉଥିଲେ, ଏବଂ ଆନନ୍ଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୃଦୟରେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଏଥିର ଅଂଶୀ କରାଉଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,
