2 UDB ସେମାନେ ଉପାସନା ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାଉଥିବା ସେସମୟରେ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଜନ୍ମରୁ ପଙ୍ଗୁ ସେଠାରେ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଚାଲିପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲା। ତାହାକୁ ସବୁଦିନ ମନ୍ଦିରର 'ସୁନ୍ଦର ଫାଟକ' ପାଖରେ ବସେଇ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ସେ ସେଠାରେ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଭିକ୍ଷା ମାଗୁଥିଲା। BSB BSB: And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts.
3 UDB ଯେତେବେଳେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରକୁ ଯିବାର ଦେଖିଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭିକ୍ଷା ମାଗିଲା। BSB BSB: When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 UDB ଯୋହନ ଓ ପିତର ତା ଆଡ଼କୁ ଅନାଇ କହିଲେ, "ଆମ୍ଭ ଆଡ଼େ ଚାହଁ।" BSB BSB: Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter.
5 UDB ସେ କିଛି ପାଇବା ଆଶାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଅନାଇଲା। BSB BSB: So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତର କହିଲେ, "ମୋ ପାଖରେ ସୁନା ବା ରୂପା ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାହା ଅଛି ତାହା ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଉଅଛି। ନାଜରିତୀୟ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଉଠି ଚ଼ାଲ।" BSB BSB: But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
7 UDB ଏହା କହି ପିତର ତା'ର ଡ଼ାହାଣ ହାତ ଧରି ଉଠାଇଲେ। ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ତା' ଗୋଡ଼ ଓ ପାଦ ଶକ୍ତ ହୋଇଗଲା। ସେ ଡ଼େଇଁ ପଡ଼ି ଚ଼ାଲିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା। BSB BSB: Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong.
8 UDB ସେ ଡ଼େଇଁ ନାଚି ନାଚି ଚାଲିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା I ସେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଗଲା। BSB BSB: He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 UDB ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାକୁ ଚାଲିବା ଓ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବାର ଦେଖିଲେ। BSB BSB: When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 UDB ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଚ଼ିହ୍ନିପାରିଲେ ଯେ ଏ ସେହି ଲୋକ ଯିଏ କି ଉପାସନା ମନ୍ଦିରର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଫାଟକ' ପାଖରେ ବସି ଭିକ ମାଗୁଥିଲା। ସେମାନେ ତାହାର ଏହି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଦେଖି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇଗଲେ। ଏହା କିପରି ସମ୍ଭବ ହେଲା, ତାହା ସେମାନେ ବୁଝିପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 UDB ସେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ଲୋକଟି ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ପାଖେ ପାଖେ ରହିଲା। ତେଣୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇ "ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡପ" ପାଖକୁ ଦୌଡି ଆସିଲେ। BSB BSB: While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.
12 UDB ପିତର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି କହିଲେ," ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହା ଦେଖି କାହିଁକି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେଉଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଏପରି କାହିଁକି ଦେଖୁଛ, ଯେପରିକି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଶକ୍ତି ବଳରେ ଏହି ଲୋକକୁ ଚ଼ାଲିବାକୁ ଦେଲୁ? BSB BSB: And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
13 UDB ବାସ୍ତବରେ କ'ଣ ଘଟିଛି ମୁଁ କହୁଛି। ସେ ଅବ୍ରାହାମ, ଯିସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନିତ୍ୱ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଚ଼ାହଁ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ପୀଲାତଙ୍କୁ କହିଲ। ଯେପରି ତାର ସୈନ୍ୟମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରନ୍ତି I ପୀଲାତ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କଲ I BSB BSB: The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him.
14 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଣେ ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ବଦଳରେ ଜଣେ ହତ୍ୟାକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଦେବା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲ! BSB BSB: You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
15 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱର ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଯେ ଜୀବନ ଦାନ କରିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହତ୍ୟା କଲ, ମାତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହାର ସାକ୍ଷୀ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବି ଏହା ନିଜ ଆଖିରେ ଅନେକ ଥର ଦେଖିଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.
16 UDB ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ଶକ୍ତି ପାଇ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଚ଼ାଲି ପାରିଲା। BSB BSB: By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.
17 UDB "ଭାଇମାନେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନେତାମାନେ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେ ମସୀହ ତାହା ନ ବୁଝି ତାଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା କଲେ। BSB BSB: And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱର ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଦୁଃଖ ଭୋଗିବା ବିଷୟରେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସବୁ କଥା ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖଦ୍ୱାରା କହିସାରିଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରିତ ମସୀହ ଯେ ଦୁଃଖ ଭୋଗକରି ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ ଏସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ଲିପିବଦ୍ଧ ମଧ୍ୟ କଲେ I BSB BSB: But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.
19 UDB ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ ଓ ଜୀବନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ପରେମଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଫେରିଆସ, ତେବେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
20 UDB ଏହିପରି କଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ। ତାହାଙ୍କ ମନୋନୀତ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଦିନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ପଠାଇବେ। BSB BSB: that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.
23 UDB ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣିବେ ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ବାଧ୍ୟ ହେବ ନାହିଁ ତାକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଦିଆଯିବ ଓ ତା'ର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିବ। BSB BSB: Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’
24 UDB ପିତର କହିଲେ, ସମସ୍ତ ଭାବବାଦୀ କ' ଣ ଘଟିବ ତାହା କହିଥିଲେ I ହଁ, ଶାମୁଏଲ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରେ ଆସିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.
25 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସେହି ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିଥିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତା'ର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଅବ୍ରାହାମଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ମ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବି।’ BSB BSB: And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’
26 UDB ପିତର ଶେଷରେ କହିଲେ,"ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମସୀହ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହୁଅ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ଏପରି କରିଛନ୍ତି।" BSB BSB: When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
