2 UDB ସେମାନେ ରାଗିଯାଇଥିଲେ କାରଣ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉଥିଲେ ଓ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଥିଲେ I BSB BSB: greatly disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
3 UDB ତେଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କାରାଗାରରେ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଦେଲେ। ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ହେବା ସକାଶେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ପଚାରିବା ପାଇଁ ପରଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ପଡିଲା। BSB BSB: They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in custody until the next day.

5 UDB ତହିଁ ଆରଦିନ ମହାଯାଜକ, ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନେତାମାନେ, ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନେ ଓ ଆଇନ ଶିକ୍ଷକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦୀ ମହାସଭାରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଏକାଠି ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: The next day the rulers, elders, and scribes assembled in Jerusalem,
6 UDB ସେଠାରେ ହାନାନ ମହାଯାଜକ, କୟାଫା ନୂଆ ମହାଯାଜକ, ଯୋହନ, ଓ ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡର ଓ ମହାଯାଜକୀୟ ପରିବାରର ସମସ୍ତେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: along with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and many others from the high priest’s family.

9 UDB ଏହି ଛୋଟା ଲୋକଟି ପ୍ରତି କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ମରେ କ'ଣ ଆପଣମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଜି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ପଚାରୁଛନ୍ତି? ଆପଣମାନେ କ'ଣ ପଚ଼ାରୁଛନ୍ତି ଯେ କେଉଁ ବିଷୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇପାରିଲା? BSB BSB: If we are being examined today about a kind service to a man who was lame, to determine how he was healed,
10 UDB ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହା ଜାଣିରଖିବା ଉଚିତ ଯେ, ଏହା ନାଜରିତୀୟ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଏହି ଲୋକଟି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ କଣ୍ଟାବିଦ୍ଧ କରିଛ, ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇଛନ୍ତି। ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହି ଛୋଟା ଲୋକଟି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇଛି। ସେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଛି। BSB BSB: then let this be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.
11 UDB ନାଜରିତୀୟ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ବାକ୍ୟ କହେ: "ଯେଉଁ ପଥରକୁ ନିର୍ମାଣକାରୀମାନେ ଫୋପାଡି ଦେଲେ ତାହା ଗୃହର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପଥର ହେଲା BSB BSB: This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’
13 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀନେତା ବୁଝିଲେ ଯେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ଭୟ କଲେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଜାଣି ପାରିଲେ ଯେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ଅଶିକ୍ଷିତ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକ, ଏହା ଜାଣି ସେମାନେ ବହୁତ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଏହା ମଧ୍ୟ ବୁଝିପାରିଲେ ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲେ I BSB BSB: When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they marveled and took note that these men had been with Jesus.
14 UDB ସେମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ, ସେହି ଛୋଟା ଲୋକଟି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କିଛି କହିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: And seeing the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in response.
15 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ଓ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇଥିବା ଲୋକଟିକୁ ସଭାରୁ ଚାଲିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ନେତାମାନେ କ'ଣ କରିବେ, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ପରସ୍ପର ମଧ୍ୟରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: So they ordered them to leave the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.
16 UDB ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, "ଏ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ କରିବା? ଯିରୁଶାଲମର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଜାଣିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ଅସାଧାରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହା ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିପାରିବା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: “What shall we do with these men?” they asked. “It is clear to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has occurred through them, and we cannot deny it.
17 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କିଛି କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେବା ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ସେପରି କରନ୍ତି ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବେ, ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକଥା ଅଧିକ ବ୍ୟାପି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।" BSB BSB: But to keep this message from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in this name.”
18 UDB ତେଣୁ ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭିତରକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ରକ୍ଷକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ ଓ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ କୌଣସି କଥା ବା ଉପଦେଶ ନ ଦେବାପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
19 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋହନ ଓ ପିତର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, "ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବା ଆମ୍ଭର ଉଚିତ କି ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଚାର କର।" BSB BSB: But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than God.
20 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ବାଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରିବୁ ନାହିଁ I ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କରିବାର ଦେଖିଛୁ ଓ ଯାହା କହିବାର ଶୁଣିଛୁ ତାହା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ କହି ରହିପାରିବୁ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
21 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବାଧ୍ୟ ନ ହେବା ପାଇଁ କହି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଯିରୁଶାଲମରେ ଏହି ଘଟଣା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୁଣଗାନ କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: After further threats they let them go. They could not find a way to punish them, because all the people were glorifying God for what had happened.
22 UDB ଛୋଟା ଲୋକଟି ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଜନ୍ମଦିନରୁ ଚାଲି ପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲା I BSB BSB: For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.
23 UDB ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନଙ୍କ ସଭା ଛାଡ଼ି ନିଜ ନିଜ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ନେତାମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା ସବୁ କହିଥିଲେ, ସେସବୁ କଥା ନିଜ ଦଳର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ। BSB BSB: On their release, Peter and John returned to their own people and reported everything that the chief priests and elders had said to them.
24 UDB ଯେତେବେଳ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହା ଶୁଣିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଏକ ମନରେ ମିଳିତ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ," ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶ, ପୃଥିବୀ, ସମୁଦ୍ର ଓ ସେଥିରେ ଥିବା ସବୁ କିଛି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛ।" BSB BSB: When the believers heard this, they lifted up their voices to God with one accord. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “You made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them.
25 UDB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେବକ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଚ଼ାଳିତ ହୋଇ ଏହି କଥା ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି, ପୃଥିବୀର ଲୋକମାନେ କାହିଁକି କ୍ରୋଧ କଲେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ବୃଥାରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କଲେ? BSB BSB: You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant, our father David: ‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
26 UDB ପୃଥିବୀର ରାଜାମାନେ ଓ ଶାସକମାନେ ମିଳିତ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଓ ମସୀହଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଚ଼ଲାଇଲେ I BSB BSB: The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against His Anointed One.’
28 UDB ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକତ୍ର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯୋଜନା ସଫଳ କରିବାକୁ ଦେଲ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଶକ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହା ଘଟିଲା। BSB BSB: They carried out what Your hand and will had decided beforehand would happen.
29 UDB ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସେମାନେ କ'ଣ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଶୁଣ। ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେବେ ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ଯୋଜନା କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେବକ ଭାବରେ ତୁମର ନାମ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କର। BSB BSB: And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness,
30 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶକ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖାଅ, ଯଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସାହାସର ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ରୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା, ନାନାଦି ଚିହ୍ନ ଦେଖାଇବା ଓ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିପାରିବା" I BSB BSB: as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”
31 UDB ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ସରିବା ପରେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଘରେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକାଠି ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେହି ଘର କମ୍ପି ଉଠିଲା। ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଗଲେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ସାହସର ସହିତ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: After they had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
33 UDB ପ୍ରେରିତମାନେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠିଛଅନ୍ତି ତାହା ମହାଶକ୍ତିର ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ। BSB BSB: With great power the apostles continued to give their testimony about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And abundant grace was upon them all.

35 UDB ଯୋଷେଫ ନାମରେ ଜଣେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଜାତିରେ ଲେବୀୟ ଯେ କି ସାଇପ୍ରସ୍ ଦ୍ୱୀପରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ, ପ୍ରେରିତମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ "ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା" ନାମରେ ଡ଼ାକୁ ଥିଲେ। ଏହି ନାମର ଅର୍ଥ, "ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାକାରୀ" I BSB BSB: and lay them at the apostles’ feet for distribution to anyone as he had need.
