4 ULB କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଅଛ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କ’ଣ ପୃଥିବୀ ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ହେବ? ଅବା ଶୈଳ କ’ଣ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେବ? BSB BSB: You who tear yourself in anger—should the earth be forsaken on your account, or the rocks be moved from their place?
5 ULB ହଁ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଦୀପ୍ତି ନିଭାଯିବ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଗ୍ନିକଣା ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେବ। BSB BSB: Indeed, the lamp of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow.
6 ULB ତାହାର ତମ୍ବୁରେ ଆଲୁଅ ଅନ୍ଧାର ହେବ ଓ ତାହାର ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ନିଭାଯିବ। BSB BSB: The light in his tent grows dark, and the lamp beside him goes out.
7 ULB ତାହାର ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟର ଗତି ସଙ୍କୁଚିତ ହେବ ଓ ତାହାର ନିଜ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ତାହାକୁ ତଳେ ପକାଇବ। BSB BSB: His vigorous stride is shortened, and his own schemes trip him up.
8 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ଚରଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଜାଲରେ ପଡ଼େ ଓ ସେ ଫାନ୍ଦ ଉପରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରେ। BSB BSB: For his own feet lead him into a net, and he wanders into its mesh.
9 ULB ଫାଶ ତାହାର ଗୋଇଠିକି ଧରିବ ଓ ଜାଲ ତାହାକୁ ଧରିବ। BSB BSB: A trap seizes his heel; a snare grips him.
10 ULB ତାହା ପାଇଁ ଫାଶ ଭୂମିରେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ଅଛି ଓ ପଥରେ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ଯନ୍ତା ଅଛି। BSB BSB: A noose is hidden in the ground, and a trap lies in his path.
11 ULB ଭୟଙ୍କରତା ତାହାକୁ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଭୀତ କରିବ ଓ ତାହାର ଗୋଡ଼େ ଗୋଡ଼େ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବ। BSB BSB: Terrors frighten him on every side and harass his every step.
12 ULB ତାହାର ବଳ କ୍ଷୁଧାରେ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେବ ଓ ତାହାର ଶେଷ ସମୟକୁ ବିପଦ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥିବ। BSB BSB: His strength is depleted, and calamity is ready at his side.
13 ULB ତାହା ତାହାର ଶରୀରର ଅବୟବସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ, ହଁ, ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ତାହାର ଅବୟବସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ। BSB BSB: It devours patches of his skin; the firstborn of death devours his limbs.
14 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ବିଶ୍ୱାସ-ସ୍ଥଳରୂପ ତମ୍ବୁରୁ ଉତ୍ପାଟିତ ହେବ ଓ ସେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ରାଜା ନିକଟକୁ ଅଣାଯିବ। BSB BSB: He is torn from the shelter of his tent and is marched off to the king of terrors.
15 ULB ତାହାର ଅସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ ଲୋକ ତାହାର ତମ୍ବୁରେ ବାସ କରିବ, ତାହାର ନିବାସ-ସ୍ଥାନ ଉପରେ ଗନ୍ଧକ ବିଞ୍ଚାଯିବ। BSB BSB: Fire resides in his tent; burning sulfur rains down on his dwelling.
16 ULB ତଳେ ତାହାର ମୂଳ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହେବ ଓ ଉପରେ ତାହାର ଶାଖା ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The roots beneath him dry up, and the branches above him wither away.
17 ULB ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ତାହାର ସ୍ମୃତି ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେବ ଓ ପଥରେ କେହି ତାହାର ନାମ ଧରିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: The memory of him perishes from the earth, and he has no name in the land.
18 ULB ସେ ଆଲୁଅରୁ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ତଡ଼ାଯିବ ଓ ଜଗତରୁ ଘଉଡ଼ାଯିବ। BSB BSB: He is driven from light into darkness and is chased from the inhabited world.
19 ULB ଆପଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର କି ପୌତ୍ର ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ତାହାର ପ୍ରବାସ-ସ୍ଥାନରେ କେହି ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: He has no offspring or posterity among his people, no survivor where he once lived.
20 ULB ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାର ବିନାଶର ଦିନ ଲାଗି ଭୀତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେପରି ପଶ୍ଚିମବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: Those in the west are appalled at his fate, while those in the east tremble in horror.
21 ULB ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଅଧାର୍ମିକର ବସତି ଏହିପରି ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ନ ଜାଣିବା ଲୋକର ସ୍ଥାନ ଏହି।” BSB BSB: Surely such is the dwelling of the wicked and the place of one who does not know God.”
