2 ULB Aoka ny fivavako ho toy ny ditin-kazo manitra eo anatrehanao; aoka ho toy ny sorona hariva ny fanandratako ny tanako. BSB BSB: May my prayer be set before You like incense; my uplifted hands, like the evening offering.
3 ULB Ry Yaveh, asio mpiambina eo amin'ny vavako; ambeno ny varavaran'ny molotro. BSB BSB: Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
4 ULB Aza avela hitsiriritra zava-dratsy ny foko na handray anjara amin'ny fahotana miaraka amin'ny olona izay mitondra tena ho ratsy. Aza avela hihinana ireo hanim-pin'izy ireo aho. BSB BSB: Do not let my heart be drawn to any evil thing or take part in works of wickedness with men who do iniquity; let me not feast on their delicacies.
5 ULB Avelao ny olo-marina hamely ahy; fa ho fahalemem-panahy amiko izany. Aoka hanitsy ahy izy; ho toy ny diloilo eo amin'ny lohako izany; aoka ny lohako tsy handà fa hanaiky izany. BSB BSB: Let the righteous man strike me; let his rebuke be an act of loving devotion. It is oil for my head; let me not refuse it. For my prayer is ever against the deeds of the wicked.
6 ULB Fa ny fivavako dia manohitra ny asa ratsin'izy ireo mandrakariva. Hatsipy avy eny amin'ny tampon'ny hantsana ireo mpitarika azy ireo; ho ren'izy ireo fa ny teniko dia mahafinaritra. BSB BSB: When their rulers are thrown down from the cliffs, the people will listen to my words, for they are pleasant.
7 ULB Dia hilaza izy ireo hoe: "Tahaka ny olona miasa sy miady ny saha, dia efa voaparitaka tany am-bavan'ny fiainan-tsi hita ny taolanay." BSB BSB: As when one plows and breaks up the soil, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
8 ULB Aminao tokoa ny masoko, ry Yaveh, Tompo; ao Aminao no hialofako; aza mamela ny fanahiko tsy hisy mpiaro. BSB BSB: But my eyes are fixed on You, O GOD the Lord. In You I seek refuge; do not leave my soul defenseless.
9 ULB Arovy amin'ireo fandrika izay efa novelarin'izy ireo ho ahy aho, amin'ny ireo fandrik'ireo mpanao ratsy. BSB BSB: Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, and from the lures of evildoers.
10 ULB Aoka ny ratsy fanahy ho lavo amin'ny aratony raha mandositra aho. BSB BSB: Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.
