3 ULB Não deve ser dado ao vinho, nem briguento, ao invés disso, gentil e pacífico. Não deve ser apegado ao dinheiro. BSB BSB: not dependent on wine, not violent but gentle, peaceable, and free of the love of money.
4 ULB Deve governar bem o seu próprio lar, e seus filhos devem obedecê-lhe com todo o respeito. BSB BSB: An overseer must manage his own household well and keep his children under control, with complete dignity.
5 ULB Pois se um homem não sabe como governar bem o seu próprio lar, como cuidará da igreja de Deus? BSB BSB: For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care for the church of God?
6 ULB Ele não deve ser um novo convertido, para que não se torne orgulhoso e caia em condenação como o diabo caiu. BSB BSB: He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same condemnation as the devil.
