4 ULB Pois todas as coisas criadas por Deus são boas. Nada que recebemos com ações de graças deve ser rejeitado, BSB BSB: For every creation of God is good, and nothing that is received with thanksgiving should be rejected,
5 ULB porque é consagrado pela palavra de Deus e pela oração. BSB BSB: because it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6 ULB Se colocares essas coisas perante os irmãos, serás um bom servo de Jesus Cristo, porque és alimentado pelas palavras da fé e pelo bom ensino que tens seguido. BSB BSB: By pointing out these things to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished by the words of faith and sound instruction that you have followed.
7 ULB Mas rejeita os mitos tolos e profanos, típicos de velhas caducas. Em vez disso, exercita-te na piedade, BSB BSB: But reject irreverent, silly myths. Instead, train yourself for godliness.
8 ULB pois o exercício físico tem pouca utilidade, mas a piedade é útil para todas as coisas e contém a promessa para a vida presente e futura. BSB BSB: For physical exercise is of limited value, but godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for the present life and for the one to come.

16 ULB Cuida de ti mesmo e do ensino. Continua nessas coisas porque fazendo isso salvarás a ti mesmo e a quem te ouve. BSB BSB: Pay close attention to your life and to your teaching. Persevere in these things, for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
