3 ULB Devemos dar sempre graças a Deus por vós, irmãos. Pois é apropriado, porque vossa fé está crescendo muito, e o amor de cada um de vós transborda uns para com os outros. BSB BSB: We are obligated to thank God for you all the time, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith is growing more and more, and your love for one another is increasing.
4 ULB Desse modo, nós mesmos nos orgulhamos de vós, dentre as igrejas de Deus, pela vossa paciência e fé, em todas as perseguições e aflições que tendes suportado. BSB BSB: That is why we boast among God’s churches about your perseverance and faith in the face of all the persecution and affliction you are enduring.
5 ULB Isso é um sinal do justo julgamento de Deus. O resultado é que sereis considerados dignos do reino de Deus, pelo qual sofreis. BSB BSB: All this is clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment. And so you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
6 ULB É justo que Deus retribua com aflição aos que vos afligem, BSB BSB: After all, it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,
7 ULB e vos dê alívio, a vós que fostes afligidos conosco. Ele assim o fará na revelação de nosso Senhor Jesus, vindo do céu com os anjos de Seu poder; BSB BSB: and to grant relief to you who are oppressed and to us as well. This will take place when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels
8 ULB em chama de fogo, Ele punirá aqueles que não conhecem a Deus, e aos que não respondem ao Evangelho de nosso Senhor Jesus. BSB BSB: in blazing fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
10 ULB naquele dia, quando Ele vier para ser glorificado no Seu povo e maravilhado por todos aqueles que creram. Pois o nosso testemunho foi crido entre vós. BSB BSB: on the day He comes to be glorified in His saints and regarded with wonder by all who have believed, including you who have believed our testimony.
11 ULB Por causa disso, também oramos continuamente por vós, para que nosso Deus vos considere dignos do vosso chamado, e cumpra todo propósito de bondade e obra de fé com poder, BSB BSB: To this end, we always pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of His calling, and that He will powerfully fulfill your every good desire and work of faith,
12 ULB para que o nome do nosso Senhor Jesus seja glorificado em vós, e vós Nele, pela graça de nosso Deus e Senhor Jesus Cristo. BSB BSB: so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
