4 ULB Pois Tu tens sido um lugar de proteção para aquele que é pobre, um abrigo para o necessitado na sua angústia, um refúgio na tempestade e uma sombra no calor. Porque o sopro do cruel é como uma tormenta contra uma parede. BSB BSB: For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
5 ULB Assim como o calor em uma seca, Tu dominaste o barulho dos forasteiros; assim como o calor se abranda pela sombra de uma nuvem, assim o cântico dos cruéis cessará. 7 ULB Sobre esse monte, Ele destruirá o manto que cobre todos os povos e a teia tecida sobre todas as nações. BSB BSB: On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
8 ULB Ele engolirá a morte para sempre, o Senhor Yahweh enxugará as lágrimas de todos os rostos; a desgraça do Seu povo Ele tirará de toda a Terra, porque Yahweh assim o disse. BSB BSB: He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth. For the LORD has spoken.
9 ULB Naquele dia, será dito: "Vede, este é o nosso Deus! Temos esperado por Ele e Ele nos salvará. Este é Yahweh! Temos esperado Nele, nós exultaremos e nos alegraremos na Sua salvação". BSB BSB: And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 ULB Pois, sobre este monte, a mão do Yahweh repousará; e Moabe será pisada no Seu lugar, assim como a palha é pisada em um poço cheio de estrume. BSB BSB: For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
11 ULB Eles espalharão suas mãos no meio dela, como um nadador estende as suas mãos para nadar; mas Yahweh abaterá o orgulho deles, apesar da habilidade de suas mãos. BSB BSB: He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
