BSB BSB: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples. Judah will be besieged, as well as Jerusalem.
3 ULB Naquele dia, farei de Jerusalém uma pedra pesada para todos os povos. Quem tentar levantar essa pedra se machucará muito, e todas as nações da terra se ajuntarão contra aquela cidade. BSB BSB: On that day, when all the nations of the earth gather against her, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who would heave it away will be severely injured.
4 ULB Naquele dia— esta é a declaração do Senhor—, Eu golpearei todos os cavalos com terror e cada cavaleiro com fúria. Eu olharei com graça para a casa de Judá; golpearei todos os cavalos do exército com cegueira. BSB BSB: On that day, declares the LORD, I will strike every horse with panic, and every rider with madness. I will keep a watchful eye on the house of Judah, but I will strike with blindness all the horses of the nations.
5 ULB Então, os líderes de Judá dirão em seus corações: 'Os habitantes de Jerusalém são a nossa força por causa do Senhor dos Exércitos, o Deus deles'. BSB BSB: Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts: ‘The people of Jerusalem are my strength, for the LORD of Hosts is their God.’
6 ULB Naquele dia, farei com que os líderes de Judá sejam como braseiros no meio da madeira e como tocha flamejante entre os grãos, porque consumirão todos os povos vizinhos à sua direita e à sua esquerda. Jerusalém voltará a viver em seu próprio lugar". BSB BSB: On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among the sheaves; they will consume all the peoples around them on the right and on the left, while the people of Jerusalem remain secure there.
7 ULB O Senhor salvará primeiro as tendas de Judá, para que a honra da casa de Davi e a honra dos que vivem em Jerusalém não sejam maiores do que a do restante de Judá. BSB BSB: The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and of the people of Jerusalem may not be greater than that of Judah.
8 ULB Naquele dia, Yahweh será o defensor dos habitantes de Jerusalém, e naquele dia os que forem fracos entre eles serão como Davi, enquanto que a casa de Davi será como Deus, como o anjo do Senhor diante deles. BSB BSB: On that day the LORD will defend the people of Jerusalem, so that the weakest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD going before them.
9 ULB "Naquele dia, começarei a destruir todas as nações que vierem contra Jerusalém; BSB BSB: So on that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 ULB mas, derramarei um espírito de compaixão e súplicas na casa de Davi e nos habitantes de Jerusalém, para que olhem para Mim, Aquele que eles feriram. Eles vão chorar por mim, como se chora por um filho único; lamentarão amargamente por ele como os que lamentam a morte de um filho primogênito. BSB BSB: Then I will pour out on the house of David and on the people of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and prayer, and they will look on Me, the One they have pierced. They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
11 ULB Naquele dia, os lamentos em Jerusalém serão como os lamentos em Hadade-Rimon na planície de Megido. BSB BSB: On that day the wailing in Jerusalem will be as great as the wailing of Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
12 ULB A terra chorará, os clãs à parte uns dos outros. O clã da casa de Davi à parte e suas esposas estarão separadas dos homens. O clã da casa de Natã à parte e suas esposas estarão separadas dos homens. BSB BSB: The land will mourn, each clan on its own: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives,
13 ULB O clã da casa de Levi à parte e suas esposas estarão separadas dos homens. O clã dos simeítas à parte e suas esposas estarão separadas dos homens. BSB BSB: the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives,
14 ULB Cada clã dos clãs restantes, cada clã à parte e as esposas estarão separadas dos homens". BSB BSB: and all the remaining clans and their wives.
