3 GLT And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab beside the Jordan at Jericho, saying, BSB BSB: So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest issued the instruction,
4 GLT “From a son of 20 years and upward, just as Yahweh commanded Moses and the sons of Israel, the ones who came out from the land of Egypt.” BSB BSB: “Take a census of the men twenty years of age or older, as the LORD has commanded Moses.” And these were the Israelites who came out of the land of Egypt:

9 GLT And the sons of Eliab were Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. 52 GLT And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
53 GLT “The land shall be apportioned to these ones as an inheritance by the number of the names. BSB BSB: “The land is to be divided among the tribes as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
54 GLT To the numerous you shall increase his inheritance, and to the small you shall lessen his inheritance. His inheritance shall be given, a man according to the mouth of his counted ones. BSB BSB: Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one; each tribe is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those registered.
55 GLT Surely the land shall be apportioned by lots. They shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers. BSB BSB: Indeed, the land must be divided by lot; they shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
56 GLT His inheritance shall be apportioned in accordance with the mouth of the lot, between the numerous and the small.” BSB BSB: Each inheritance is to be divided by lot among the larger and smaller tribes.”
57 GLT And these were the counted ones of the Levite according to their clans: of Gershon, the clan of the Gershonite; of Kohath, the clan of the Kohathite; of Merari, the clan of the Merarite. BSB BSB: Now these were the Levites numbered by their clans: The Gershonite clan from Gershon, the Kohathite clan from Kohath, and the Merarite clan from Merari.
58 GLT These were the clans of the Levite: the clan of the Libnite, the clan of the Hebronite, the clan of the Mahlite, the clan of the Mushite, the clan of the Korahite. And Kohath fathered Amram. 59 GLT And the name of the wife of Amram was Jochebed, a daughter of Levi, she who was born to Levi in Egypt. And she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister. But they were not counted in the midst of the sons of Israel because an inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel was not given to them.
