39 STF Ali oci naљi ne hteљe ga posluљati, nego ga odbaciљe i okrenuљe se srcem svojim Egiptu, BSB BSB: But our fathers refused to obey him. Instead, they rejected him and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.
40 STF i rekoљe Aronu: "Naиini nam bogove koji жe iжi pred nama; jer ovaj Mojsije, koji nas dovede iz zemlje egipatske- ne znamo љta mu bi". BSB BSB: They said to Aaron, ‘Make us gods who will go before us! As for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him.’
41 STF Tada naиiniљe tele i prinesoљe ћrtvu idolu, i radovahu se rukotvorini svojoj. BSB BSB: At that time they made a calf and offered a sacrifice to the idol, rejoicing in the works of their hands.
42 STF A Bog se okrenu (od njih) i predade ih da sluћe vojsci nebeskoj, kao љto je napisano u knjizi proroka: "Jeste li mi zaklane ћivotinje i ћrtve prinosili za иetrdeset godina u pustinji, dome Izrailjev? BSB BSB: But God turned away from them and gave them over to the worship of the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: ‘Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

51 STF Tvrdovrati i neobrezanih srca i uљiju! Vi se jednako protivite Duhu svetome, kako oci vaљi, tako i vi! BSB BSB: You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit, just as your fathers did.
