3 STF Seжajte se suћanja kao da ste s njima svezani, i onih koji trpe, jer ste i sami u telu. BSB BSB: Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them.
5 STF Ne budite srebroljupci; budite zadovoljni onim љto imate: jer je on rekao: "Neжu odstupiti od tebe, niti жu te ostaviti". BSB BSB: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.”
6 STF Zato moћemo slobodno govoriti: "Gospod je moj pomoжnik; neжu se bojati. Љta жe mi uиiniti иovek?" BSB BSB: So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
7 STF Seжajte se svojih stareљina koji su vam propovedali reи Boћju: gledajte na svrљetak njihova ћivota i ugledajte se na veru njihovu. BSB BSB: Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
8 STF Isus Hristos je isti juиe i danas i do veka! BSB BSB: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
9 STF Ne dajte se zavesti razliиnim tuрim naukama; Jer je dobro blagodaжu utvrрivati srce, a ne jelima, od kojih nisu imali koristi oni koji su po njima ћiveli. BSB BSB: Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace and not by foods of no value to those devoted to them.

16 STF A dobro иiniti i davati milostinju ne zaboravljajte; jer se takim ћrtvama ugaрa Bogu. BSB BSB: And do not neglect to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
17 STF Sluљajte stareљine svoje i pokoravajte im se, jer se oni staraju za duљe vaљe kao oni koji жe odgovarati za to; da to иine s radoљжu, a ne uzdiљuжi: jer vam ovo ne bi bilo od koristi. BSB BSB: Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch over your souls as those who must give an account. To this end, allow them to lead with joy and not with grief, for that would be of no advantage to you.
