5 STF Ja sam иokot, a vi loze. Ko ostane u meni i ja u njemu, taj жe roditi mnogo roda, jer bez mene ne moћete niљta иiniti. BSB BSB: I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
6 STF Ko ne ostane u meni, izbaciжe se napolje, kao loza, i osuљiжe se, i skupiжe ih i u vatru baciti, i izgoreжe. BSB BSB: If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 STF Ako ostanete u meni i reиi moje ostanu u vama, љto god hoжete, iљtite, i biжe vam. BSB BSB: If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 STF Tim se proslavi Otac moj, da rodite mnogi rod i (tako) budete moji uиenici. BSB BSB: This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
9 STF Kao љto je mene ljubio Otac, tako i ja ljubih vas. Ostanite u ljubavi mojoj! BSB BSB: As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
10 STF Ako zapovesti moje uzdrћite, ostaжete u ljubavi mojoj, kao љto sam i ja odrћao zapovesti Oca svoga i ostajem u njegovoj ljubavi. BSB BSB: If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
11 STF Ovo sam vam kazao, da moja radost bude u vama i da vaљa radost bude potpuna. BSB BSB: I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12 STF Ovo je moja zapovest: da ljubite jedan drugoga, kao љto ja ljubih vas. BSB BSB: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 STF Niko nema veжe ljubavi od ove, da ko ћivot svoj da za prijatelje svoje. BSB BSB: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.
16 STF Niste vi mene izabrali, nego sam ja vas izabrao, i postavio sam vas da idete, rod rodite i da vaљ rod ostane,- da vam da љto zaiљtete u Oca u ime moje. BSB BSB: You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
17 STF Ovo vam zapovedam, da ljubite jedan drugoga. BSB BSB: This is My command to you: Love one another.
18 STF Ako svet mrzi na vas, znajte da je na mene omrznuo pre vas. BSB BSB: If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.
19 STF Kad biste bili od sveta, svet bi svoje ljubio. A kako niste od sveta, nego vas ja izabrah od sveta, zato mrzi na vas svet. BSB BSB: If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20 STF Setite se reиi koju vam rekoh: Nije sluga veжi od gospodara svoga. Ako su mene gonili, i vas жe goniti; ako su moju reи odrћali, i vaљu жe odrћati. BSB BSB: Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.
21 STF Ali sve жe vam ovo иiniti za moje ime, jer ne znaju onoga koji me je poslao. BSB BSB: But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me.
22 STF Da nisam doљao i govorio im, ne bi imali greha. Ali ovako nemaju izgovora za svoj greh. BSB BSB: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23 STF Ko mrzi na mene, i na Oca moga mrzi. BSB BSB: Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.
24 STF Da nisam uиinio meрu njima dela kojih niko drugi nije uиinio, ne bi imali greha. Ali ovako su videli, pa ipak omrznuli- i na mene i na Oca moga. BSB BSB: If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
25 STF Ali ovo bi, da se ispuni reи, napisana u zakonu njihovu: "Omrznuљe na mene ni za љto". BSB BSB: But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’
27 STF Ali i vi svedoиite, jer ste od poиetka sa mnom. BSB BSB: And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
