2 STF Ovaj doрe k njemu noжu i reиe mu: Ravi, znamo da si ti od Boga doљao uиitelj; jer niko ne moћe иiniti ovih иudesa љto ih иiniљ ti, ako nije Bog s njim. BSB BSB: He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.”
3 STF A Isus odgovori i reиe mu: zaista, zaista, kaћem ti: Ako se ko ne rodi od gore, ne moћe videti carstva Boћjeg. BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
4 STF Reиe mu Nikodim: Kako se moћe иovek roditi kad je star? Zar moћe po drugiput uжi u utrobu matere svoje i roditi se? BSB BSB: “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”
5 STF Odgovori Isus: Zaista, zaista, kaћem ti: Ako se ko ne rodi vodom i Duhom, ne moћe uжi u carstvo Boћje. BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6 STF Љto je roрeno od mesa, meso je, i љto je roрeno od Duha, Duh je. BSB BSB: Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit.
7 STF Ne иudi se љto ti rekoh: Morate se roditi od gore. BSB BSB: Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’
8 STF Vetar duva gde hoжe, i njegovo fijukanje иujeљ, ali ne znaљ otkuda dolazi i kuda ide: tako je sa svakim koji je roрen od Duha. BSB BSB: The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 STF Odgovori Nikodim i reиe mu: Kako moћe to biti?! BSB BSB: “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.
10 STF A Isus odgovori i reиe mu: Ti si иuveni uиitelj Izrailjev i ne shvaжaљ to? BSB BSB: “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things?
11 STF Zaista, zaista, kaћem ti: Govorimo љto znamo i svedoиimo љto smo videli, pa ipak svedoиanstva naљeg ne primate. BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony.
12 STF Kad vam kazah zemaljsko, pa ne verujete, kako жete verovati kad vam kaћem nebesko? BSB BSB: If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?
13 STF Niko se nije popeo na nebo osim onoga koji je siљao s neba, Sin иoveиji. BSB BSB: No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man.
14 STF I kao љto je Mojsije podigao zmiju u pustinji, tako treba da se podigne i Sin иoveиji, BSB BSB: Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
15 STF da svaki koji veruje, u njemu ima ћivot veиni. BSB BSB: that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.
17 STF Jer ne posla Bog Sina na svet da sudi svetu, nego da se svet spase kroz njega. BSB BSB: For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
18 STF Koji veruje u njega, tome se ne sudi. A koji ne veruje, veж je osuрen, љto nije verovao u ime jedinoroрenoga Sina Boћjeg. BSB BSB: Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
19 STF A ovo je sud: svetlost je doљla na svet, ali ljudima bi milija tama nego li svetlost; jer njihova dela behu zla. BSB BSB: And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.
20 STF Jer svaki koji иini zlo, mrzi na svetlost i ne ide k svetlosti, da ne pokaraju dela njegovih. BSB BSB: Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 STF A ko istinu иini, dolazi k svetlosti, da se vide dela njegova, jer su u Bogu uиinjena. BSB BSB: But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”
22 STF Potom doрe Isus sa svojim uиenicima u Judeju, tu se zadrћao s njima i krљжavao je. BSB BSB: After this, Jesus and His disciples went into the Judean countryside, where He spent some time with them and baptized.
23 STF A i Jovan je krљжavao u Enonu, blizu Salima, jer je onde bilo mnogo vode; i dolaћahu i on ih krљжavaљe. BSB BSB: Now John was also baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because the water was plentiful there, and people kept coming to be baptized.
24 STF Jer joљ ne beљe Jovan baиen u tamnicu. BSB BSB: (For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
25 STF Tako doрe do raspre izmeрu uиenika Jovanovih i jednog Judejina oko иiљжenja. BSB BSB: Then a dispute arose between John’s disciples and a certain Jew over the issue of ceremonial washing.
26 STF I doрoљe k Jovanu i rekoљe mu: Ravi, onaj љto beљe s tobom preko Jordana, za koga si ti svedoиio, eto (i) on krљжava i svi idu k njemu. BSB BSB: So John’s disciples came to him and said, “Look, Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, the One you testified about—He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him.”
27 STF A Jovan odgovori i reиe: Ne moћe niko niљta primiti, ako mu nije dano s neba. BSB BSB: John replied, “A man can receive only what is given him from heaven.
28 STF Vi ste sami moji svedoci da sam rekao: Ja nisam Mesija, nego sam poslan pred njim. BSB BSB: You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but am sent ahead of Him.’
29 STF Ko ima mladu, taj je mladoћenja; a prijatelj mladoћenjin, koji stoji i sluљa ga, raduje se od srca glasu mladoћenjinu. Ova moja radost sad je najveжa. BSB BSB: The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom stands and listens for him, and is overjoyed to hear the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.
30 STF On treba da raste, a ja da se umanjujem. BSB BSB: He must increase; I must decrease.
31 STF Koji od gore dolazi, nad svima je; koji je sa zemlje, zemaljski je, i govori tako. Koji s neba dolazi, nad svima je. BSB BSB: The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.
32 STF Љto je video i иuo, to svedoиi, i- svedoиanstva njegova niko ne prima! BSB BSB: He testifies to what He has seen and heard, yet no one accepts His testimony.
33 STF Koji je primio njegovo svedoиanstvo, potvrdio je da je Bog istinit. BSB BSB: Whoever accepts His testimony has certified that God is truthful.
34 STF Jer koga je Bog poslao, taj reиi Boћje govori: Jer (mu) ne daje (Bog) Duha na meru. BSB BSB: For the One whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
35 STF Otac ljubi Sina, i sve je dao u njegove ruke. BSB BSB: The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands.
36 STF Ko veruje u Sina, ima ћivot veиni, a ko se protivi Sinu, neжe videti ћivota, nego gnev Boћji ostaje na njemu. BSB BSB: Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”
