11 STF Kako ne razumeste da vam ne rekoh za hlebove: иuvajte se kvasca farisejskog i sadukejskog? BSB BSB: How do you not understand that I was not telling you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
12 STF Tada razumeљe da ne reиe da se иuvaju kvasca hlebnoga, nego nauke farisejske i sadukejske. BSB BSB: Then they understood that He was not telling them to beware of the leaven used in bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
13 STF A kad Isus doрe u okolinu Kesarije Filipove, pitaљe uиenike svoje: Љta govore ljudi, ko je Sin иoveиji? BSB BSB: When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He questioned His disciples: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

19 STF I daжu ti kljuиeve od carstva nebeskoga, i љto sveћeљ na zemlji, biжe svezano (i) na nebesima, i љto razdreљiљ na zemlji biжe razdreљeno (i) na nebesima. BSB BSB: I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
20 STF Tada zapreti uиenicima da nikome ne kaћu da je on Mesija. BSB BSB: Then He admonished the disciples not to tell anyone that He was the Christ.
21 STF Otada poиe Isus Hristos kazivati svojim uиenicima, da njemu valja iжi u Jeruslaim i mnogo postradati od stareљina, prvosveљtenika i knjiћevnika, da жe ga ubiti i da жe treжi dan ustati. BSB BSB: From that time on Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

24 STF Tada Isus reиe uиenicima svojim: Ko hoжe za mnom da ide, neka se odreиe sebe i uzme krst svoj i poрe za mnom! BSB BSB: Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
25 STF Jer ko hoжe da saиuva ћivot svoj, izgubiжe ga; a ko izgubi ћivot svoj zbog mene, naжi жe ga. BSB BSB: For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
26 STF Jer љta vredi иoveku ako sav svet dobije, a ћivotu svome naudi? Ili иime жe иovek otkupiti ћivot svoj? BSB BSB: What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 STF Jer жe doжi Sin иoveиji u slavi Oca svoga, s anрelima svojim, i tada жe vratiti svakome po delima njegovim. BSB BSB: For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.
28 STF Zaista, kaћem vam: Ima nekih meрu ovima љto stoje ovde, koji neжe okusiti smrti dok ne vide Sina иoveиjeg gde ide sa carstvom svojim. BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
