STF A ujutru odluиiљe svi prvosveљtenici i streљine narodne protiv Isusa, da ga pogube. BSB BSB: When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people conspired against Jesus to put Him to death.
STF i reиe: Zgreљih љto izdadoh krv pravu. A oni rekoљe: Љta se to nas tiиe? To je tvoja stvar! BSB BSB: “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood,” he said. “What is that to us?” they replied. “You bear the responsibility.”
STF A prvosveљtenici uzeљe srebrnike i rekoљe: Ne valja ih metnuti meрu hramovni novac, jer su plata za krv. BSB BSB: The chief priests picked up the pieces of silver and said, “It is unlawful to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.”
BSB BSB: After conferring together, they used the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for foreigners.
STF Zato se ona njiva zove krvna njiva do danas. BSB BSB: That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
STF Tada se ispuni љto je rekao prorok Jeremija: "I uzeh trideset srebrnika, cenu procenjenoga, koga proceniљe sinovi Izrailjevi, BSB BSB: Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price set on Him by the people of Israel,
BSB BSB: and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord had commanded me.”
STF A Isusa izvedoљe pred prokuratora, i zapita ga prokurator: Jesi li ti car judejski? A Isus reиe: Ti kaћeљ. BSB BSB: Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, who questioned Him: “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.
STF I kad ga tuћahu prvosveљtenici i stareљine, niљta ne odgovori. BSB BSB: And when He was accused by the chief priests and elders, He gave no answer.
STF Tada mu reиe Pilat: Zar ne иujeљ љta sve svedoиe na tebe? BSB BSB: Then Pilate asked Him, “Do You not hear how many charges they are bringing against You?”
BSB BSB: But Jesus gave no answer, not even to a single charge, much to the governor’s amazement.
BSB BSB: Now it was the governor’s custom at the feast to release to the crowd a prisoner of their choosing.
BSB BSB: At that time they were holding a notorious prisoner named Barabbas.
BSB BSB: So when the crowd had assembled, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
BSB BSB: For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.
STF A kad seрaљe na sudijskoj stolici, poruиi mu ћena njegova: Nemoj se ti niљta meљati u stvar toga pravednika, jer sam danas u snu mnogo prepatila zbog njega. BSB BSB: While Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him this message: “Have nothing to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered terribly in a dream today because of Him.”
STF A prvosveљtenici i stareљine negovoriљe narod da iљtu Varavu, a Isusa da pogube. BSB BSB: But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus put to death.
A oni rekoљe: Varavu. BSB BSB: “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they replied.
BSB BSB: “What then should I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify Him!”
STF A on reиe: A kakvo je zlo uиinio? BSB BSB: “Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”
STF A kad Pilat vide da niљta ne pomaћe, nego joљ veжa buna biva, uze vode i opra ruke pred narodom i reиe: Ja nisam kriv u krvi ovoj; vi жete odgovarati! BSB BSB: When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but that instead a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “You bear the responsibility.”
STF Tada im pusti Varavu, a Isusa iљiba i predade ga da ga razapnu. BSB BSB: So Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.
STF Tada vojnici prokuratorovi uzeљe Isusa u pretorium i skupiљe oko njega svu иetu vojnika. BSB BSB: Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him.
STF Svukoљe ga i obukoљe mu crvenu kabanicu, BSB BSB: They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.
STF opletoљe venac od trnja i metnuљe mu na glavu, a u desnicu (dadoљe) mu trsku, pa kleknuљe pred njim i rugahu mu se govoreжi: Zdravo, care judejski! BSB BSB: And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand, knelt down before Him, and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
STF I pljunuљe na nj i uzeљe trsku i udarahu ga po glavi. BSB BSB: Then they spit on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head repeatedly.
STF I kad mu se narugaљe, svukoљe s njega kabanicu i obukoљe ga u njegove haljine, i odvedoљe ga da ga razapnu. BSB BSB: After they had mocked Him, they removed the robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him away to crucify Him.
BSB BSB: Along the way they found a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
STF I kad doрoљe na mesto koje se zove Golgota t.j. Lubanja, BSB BSB: And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull,
STF dadoљe mu da pije vino pomeљano sa ћuиi. I kad okusi, ne htede piti. BSB BSB: they offered Him wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, He refused to drink it.
STF A kad ga razapeљe, razdeliљe haljine njegove kockom, BSB BSB: When they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments by casting lots.
STF i seрahu i иuvahu ga onde. BSB BSB: And sitting down, they kept watch over Him there.
STF I metnuљe mu viљe glave krivicu njegovu, napisanu: Ovo je Isus, car judejski. BSB BSB: Above His head they posted the written charge against Him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
STF Tada raspeљe s njim dva razbojnika, jednoga s desne, a drugoga s leve strane. BSB BSB: Two robbers were crucified with Him, one on His right and the other on His left.
STF A koji prolaћahu, huljahu na nj, mahahu glavama svojim BSB BSB: And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads
STF i govorahu: Ti љto ruљiљ hram i za tri dana sagraрujeљ- pomozi sam sebi, ako si Sin Boћji i siрi s krsta! BSB BSB: and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”
STF Tako se podsmevahu i prvosveљtenici s knjiћevnicima i stareљinama i govorahu: BSB BSB: In the same way, the chief priests, scribes, and elders mocked Him, saying,
BSB BSB: “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel! Let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in Him.
STF Uzdao se u Boga; neka mu pomogne sad, ako hoжe; jer reиe: Ja sam Boћji Sin! BSB BSB: He trusts in God. Let God deliver Him now if He wants Him. For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
BSB BSB: In the same way, even the robbers who were crucified with Him berated Him.
BSB BSB: From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
STF A oko devetoga иasa povika Isus iz glasa: Eli, Eli, lama savahtani? t.j. Boћe moj, Boћe moj, zaљto si me ostavio? BSB BSB: About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” 47 STF A neki od onih љto stajahu onde, kad иuљe, rekoљe: Ovaj zove Iliju. BSB BSB: When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He is calling Elijah.”
STF I odmah otrиa jedan od njih, uze sunрer, napuni ga octa, nataиe ga na trsku i pojaљe ga. BSB BSB: One of them quickly ran and brought a sponge. He filled it with sour wine, put it on a reed, and held it up for Jesus to drink.
STF A ostali govorahu: Stani, da vidimo hoжe li doжi Ilija da mu pomogne. BSB BSB: But the others said, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to save Him.”
BSB BSB: The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
BSB BSB: After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people.
STF A kad kapetan i koji s njim иuvahu Isusa, videљe da se zemlja trese i љta bi, poplaљiљe se vrlo i rekoљe: Ovaj je zaista bio sin Boћji! BSB BSB: When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified and said, “Truly this was the Son of God.”
STF A gledahu onde izdaleka mnoge ћene koje su iљle za Isusom iz Galileje i sluћile mu: BSB BSB: And many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to minister to Him.
STF Meрu ovima beљe Marija Magdalina i Marija, mati Jakovljeva i Josifova, i mati sinova Zevedejevih. BSB BSB: Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.
BSB BSB: When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea named Joseph, who himself was a disciple of Jesus.
STF Ovaj pristupi Pilatu i zamoli ga za telo Isusovo. Tada Pilat zapovedi da mu se da. BSB BSB: He went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him.
STF I uze Josif telo, zavi ga u иisto platno BSB BSB: So Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
BSB BSB: and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut into the rock. Then he rolled a great stone across the entrance to the tomb and went away.
BSB BSB: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
STF A sutradan, po petku, sabraљe se prvosveљtenici i fariseji kod Pilata BSB BSB: The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and Pharisees assembled before Pilate.
BSB BSB: “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while He was alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
BSB BSB: So give the order that the tomb be secured until the third day. Otherwise, His disciples may come and steal Him away and tell the people He has risen from the dead. And this last deception would be worse than the first.”
STF Reиe im Pilat: Evo vam straћe, idite i osigurajte kako znate. BSB BSB: “You have a guard,” Pilate said. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.”
STF A oni odoљe i osiguraљe grob zapeиativљi kamen sa straћom. BSB BSB: So they went and secured the tomb by sealing the stone and posting the guard.
