Luke 11 (SRPONSTL)

1Jednom prilikom se Isus molio na nekom mestu. Kad je završio, njegovi učenici mu rekoše: „Gospode, nauči nas da se molimo, kao što je i Jovan naučio svoje učenike.“One day in a place where Jesus had just finished praying, one of His disciples requested, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

2Isus im reče: „Kada se molite, govorite: ’Oče, neka se slavi ime tvoje sveto, neka dođe Carstvo tvoje,So Jesus told them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.

3hleb naš nasušni daj nam svakog dana,Give us each day our daily bread.

4i oprosti nam grehe naše, jer i mi opraštamo svakom svom dužniku. I ne daj da podlegnemo iskušenju.’“And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”

5Onda im reče: „Zar ko od vas ima takvog prijatelja, kod koga bi otišao u po noći i rekao mu: ’Prijatelju, pozajmi mi tri hleba,Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose one of you goes to his friend at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,

6jer mi je došao prijatelj s puta, a nemam šta da iznesem pred njega’,because a friend of mine has come to me on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him.’

7a prijatelj mu odgovorio iz kuće: ’Ne uznemiravaj me! Vrata su zaključana i ja sam sa svojom decom u postelji; ne mogu da ustanem da ti dam.’?And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Do not bother me. My door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’

8Kažem vam, ako i ne ustane da mu da hleb zato što mu je prijatelj, ustaće i daće mu što mu treba da bi sačuvao sebi obraz.I tell you, even though he will not get up to provide for him because of his friendship, yet because of the man’s persistence, he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9Tako i ja vama kažem: molite i daće vam se, tražite i naći ćete, kucajte i otvoriće vam se.So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.

10Jer, ko god moli, dobija, ko god traži, nalazi, i ko god kuca, tome se otvara.For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

11Ko je od vas takav otac da sinu pruži zmiju kad mu ovaj zatraži ribu?What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?

12Ili škorpiju, kad zatraži jaje?Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

13Dakle, kada vi, budući zli, umete da dajete dobre darove svojoj deci, koliko više će Otac na nebesima dati Svetoga Duha onima koji zatraže od njega?“So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

20Ali, ako ja Božijim prstom izgonim zle duhove, onda je k vama došlo Carstvo Božije.But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

21Kada jaki čovek oružjem čuva svoj dom, njegova dobra su bezbedna.When a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are secure.

22Ali kada neko jači dođe i savlada ga, on mu uzima oružje u koje se pouzdao i deli što je pokrao od njega.But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted, and then he divides up his plunder.

23Ko nije sa mnom, protiv mene je, i ko sa mnom ne sakuplja, taj rasipa.He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

24Kada nečisti duh izađe iz čoveka, on tumara po bezvodnim mestima tražeći sebi pokoja. I pošto ga ne nalazi, kaže: ’Vratiću se u svoj dom, odakle sam izašao.’When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’

25Kada se vrati, nalazi kuću počišćenu i uređenu.On its return, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.

26Onda odlazi i dovodi sedam drugih duhova, gorih od sebe, pa uđu i nastane se tamo. Čoveku onda to potonje stanje biva gore no što mu je bilo pređašnje.“Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first.”

27Dok je Isus govorio, neka žena iz naroda uzvikne: „Blažena majka koja te je rodila i dojila!“As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You!”

28A Isus reče: „Blaženiji su oni koji slušaju reč Božiju i drže je.“But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body is full of darkness.

35Zato gledaj da svetlost koja je u tebi ne postane tama.Be careful, then, that the light within you is not darkness.

36Dakle, ako je svetlost u celom tvom telu, tako da nema nijednog mračnog dela, onda ćeš u potpunosti biti osvetljen, kao kad te svetiljka osvetljava svojim sjajem.“So if your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, you will be radiant, as though a lamp were shining on you.”

37Dok je Isus još govorio, jedan farisej ga pozva da obeduje sa njim. Isus uđe i zauzme mesto za stolom.As Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to dine with him; so He went in and reclined at the table.

38Fariseji se začudiše videvši da Isus nije prvo oprao ruke pre obeda.But the Pharisee was surprised to see that Jesus did not first wash before the meal.

39Gospod im reče: „Da, vi fariseji spolja čistite čašu i posuđe, a iznutra ste puni pohlepe i zloće.Then the Lord said, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

40Bezumnici! Nije li Bog koji je stvorio čovekovu spoljašnjost, takođe stvorio i njegovu nutrinu?You fools! Did not the One who made the outside make the inside as well?

41Nego, dajte ono što je iznutra kao milostinju, pa će vam sve biti čisto.But give as alms the things that are within you, and behold, everything will be clean for you.

42Jao vama, fariseji, jer dajete desetak od nane i rute i od svakog povrća, a zanemarujete pravdu i ljubav Božiju! Ovo je trebalo činiti, a ono ne izostavljati.Woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithes of mint, rue, and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.

43Jao vama, fariseji, jer volite istaknuta mesta u sinagogama i da vas sa uvažavanjem pozdravljaju po trgovima!Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.

44Jao vama, jer ste kao neobeleženi grobovi po kojima ljudi neznajući idu!“Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.”

45Tada mu znalci Svetog pisma rekoše: „Učitelju, kad govoriš ove stvari, ti i nas vređaš!“One of the experts in the law told Him, “Teacher, when You say these things, You insult us as well.”

46Isus odgovori: „Jao i vama, znalcima Svetog pisma, jer teretite ljude jedva podnošljivim bremenima, a sami ne mrdate ni prstom da im pomognete!“Woe to you as well, experts in the law!” He replied. “For you weigh men down with heavy burdens, but you yourselves will not lift a finger to lighten their load.

47Jao vama, jer podižete spomenike prorocima, a vaši su ih preci pobili!Woe to you! For you build tombs for the prophets, but it was your fathers who killed them.

48Time svedočite da odobravate dela svojih predaka: oni su ih pobili, a vi im dižete spomenike.So you are witnesses consenting to the deeds of your fathers: They killed the prophets, and you build their tombs.

49Zato Bog po svojoj mudrosti reče: ’Poslaću im proroke i apostole; neke će ubiti, a neke prognati.’Because of this, the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles; some of them they will kill and others they will persecute.’

50Stoga će vaš naraštaj biti smatran krivim za krv svih proroka koja se prolila od početka sveta do sada,As a result, this generation will be charged with the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the foundation of the world,

53Kad je Isus otišao odande, znalci Svetog pisma i fariseji su se žestoko okomili na njega, salećući ga pitanjimaAs Jesus went on from there, the scribes and Pharisees began to oppose Him bitterly and to ply Him with questions about many things,
