Psalm 106 (ULB)

1యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. యెహోవా దయాళుడు. ఆయన నిబంధన విశ్వాస్యత నిరంతరం ఉంటుంది.Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.

2యెహోవా పరాక్రమ కార్యాలను వర్ణించగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన కీర్తి అంతటినీ ఎవడు ప్రకటించగలడు?Who can describe the mighty acts of the LORD or fully proclaim His praise?

3న్యాయం అనుసరించేవారు, ఎల్లవేళలా నీతిననుసరించి నడుచుకునేవారు ధన్యులు.Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

4యెహోవా, నీవు ఏర్పరచుకున్నవారి క్షేమం నేను చూస్తూ నీ ప్రజలకు కలిగే సంతోషాన్ని బట్టి నేను సంతోషిస్తూ,Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor to Your people; visit me with Your salvation,

5నీ వారసత్వ ప్రజతో కలిసి కొనియాడేలా నీ ప్రజల పట్ల నీకున్న దయ చొప్పున నన్ను జ్ఞాపకానికి తెచ్చుకో. నాకు దర్శనమిచ్చి నన్ను రక్షించు.that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.

6మా పితరుల్లాగానే మేము పాపం చేశాము. దోషాలు మూటగట్టుకుని భక్తిహీనులమైపోయాము.We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.

7ఈజిప్టులో మా పూర్వీకులు నీ అద్భుతాలను గ్రహించలేదు. నీ కృపాబాహుళ్యం జ్ఞాపకం తెచ్చుకోలేదు. సముద్రం దగ్గర, ఎర్రసముద్రం దగ్గర వారు తిరుగు బాటు చేశారు.Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea.

8అయినా తన మహా పరాక్రమాన్ని ప్రసిద్ధి చేయడానికి ఆయన తన నామాన్నిబట్టి వారిని రక్షించాడు.Yet He saved them for the sake of His name, to make His power known.

9ఆయన ఎర్రసముద్రాన్ని గద్దించగా అది ఆరిపోయింది. మైదానం మీద నడిచినట్టు ఆయన వారిని అగాధజలాల్లో నడిపించాడు.He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; He led them through the depths as through a desert.

10పగవారి చేతిలోనుండి వారిని రక్షించాడు. శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి వారిని విమోచించాడు.He saved them from the hand that hated them; He redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11నీళ్లు వారి శత్రువులను ముంచివేశాయి. వారిలో ఒక్కడైనా మిగల్లేదు.The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained.

12అప్పుడు వారు ఆయన మాటలు నమ్మారు. ఆయన కీర్తిని గానం చేశారు.Then they believed His promises and sang His praise.

13అయినా వారు ఆయన కార్యాలను వెంటనే మర్చిపోయారు. ఆయన ఆలోచన కోసం కనిపెట్టుకోలేదు.Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel.

14అరణ్యంలో వారు ఎంతో ఆశించారు. ఎడారిలో దేవుణ్ణి పరీక్షించారు.They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.

15వారు కోరినది ఆయన వారికి ఇచ్చాడు. అయినా వారి ప్రాణాలకు ఆయన క్షీణత కలగజేశాడు.So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them.

16వారు తమ శిబిరంలో మోషేపైనా యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితుడు అహరోనుపైనా అసూయపడ్డారు.In the camp they envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.

17భూమి నెర్రె విచ్చి దాతానును మింగేసింది. అది అబీరాము బృందాన్ని కప్పేసింది.The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram.

18వారి మధ్యలో అగ్ని రగులుకుంది. దాని మంట భక్తిహీనులను కాల్చివేసింది.Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked.

19హోరేబులో వారు దూడను చేయించుకున్నారు. పోత పోసిన విగ్రహానికి మొక్కారు.At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image.

20తమ దేవుని మహిమను వారు గడ్డి మేసే ఎద్దు రూపానికి మార్చివేశారు.They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox.

21ఈజిప్టులో గొప్ప కార్యాలను, హాము దేశంలో ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలనుThey forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,

22ఎర్రసముద్రం దగ్గర భయం గొలిపే క్రియలను చేసిన తమ రక్షకుడైన దేవుణ్ణి మర్చిపోయారు.wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.

23అప్పుడు ఆయన <<నేను వారిని నశింపజేస్తాను>> అన్నాడు. అయితే ఆయన వారిని నశింపజేయకుండేలా ఆయన కోపం చల్లార్చడానికి ఆయన ఏర్పరచుకున్న మోషే ఆయన సన్నిధిలో నిలిచి అడ్డుపడ్డాడు.So He said He would destroy them—had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them.

24రమ్యమైన దేశాన్ని వారు నిరాకరించారు. ఆయన మాట నమ్మలేదు.They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise.

25యెహోవా మాట వినకుండా వారు తమ గుడారాల్లో సణుగుకున్నారు.They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the voice of the LORD.

26అప్పుడు అరణ్యంలో వారు కూలిపోయేలా చేయడానికి,So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness,

27అన్యజనులలో వారి సంతానాన్ని కూల్చడానికి, దేశంలో వారిని చెదరగొట్టడానికి ఆయన వారిపై చెయ్యి ఎత్తాడు.to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.

28వారు బయల్పెయోరును హత్తుకుని, చచ్చిన వారికి అర్పించిన బలిమాంసాన్ని భుజించారు.They yoked themselves to Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.

29వారు తమ క్రియలచేత ఆయనకు కోపం పుట్టించగా వారిలో తెగులు చెలరేగింది.So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.

30ఫీనెహాసు లేచి పరిహారం చేయగా ఆ తెగులు ఆగిపోయింది.But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained.

31నిత్యం తరాలన్నిటిలో అతనికి ఆ పని నీతిగా ఎంచబడింది.It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.

32మెరీబా జలాల దగ్గర వారు ఆయనకు కోపం పుట్టించారు. కాబట్టి వారి మూలంగా మోషేకు బాధ కలిగింది.At the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them.

33ఎలాగంటే వారు అతనికి విరక్తి పుట్టించారు. ఫలితంగా అతడు తొందరపడి మాట్లాడాడు.For they rebelled against His Spirit, and Moses spoke rashly with his lips.

34యెహోవా వారికి ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు వారు అన్యజాతులను నాశనం చేయలేదు.They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,

35అన్యజనులతో సహవాసం చేసి వారి క్రియలు నేర్చుకున్నారు.but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.

36వారి విగ్రహాలకు పూజ చేశారు. అవి వారికి ఉరి అయినాయి.They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.

37వారు తమ కొడుకులను, తమ కూతుళ్ళను దయ్యాలకు బలిగా అర్పించారు.They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

38నిర్దోష రక్తం, అంటే తమ కొడుకుల రక్తం తమ కూతుళ్ళల రక్తం ఒలికించారు. కనాను జాతి వారి బొమ్మలకు వారిని బలిగా అర్పించారు. ఆ రక్తం వలన దేశం అపవిత్రం అయిపోయింది.They shed innocent blood—the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

39తమ క్రియల వలన వారు అపవిత్రులైపోయారు. తమ నడవడిలో వ్యభిచారులయ్యారు.They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.

40కాబట్టి యెహోవా కోపం ఆయన ప్రజల మీద రగులుకుంది. ఆయన తన వారసత్వంపై అసహ్యపడ్డాడు.So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.

41ఆయన వారిని అన్యజనుల చేతికి అప్పగించాడు. పగవారు వారిని ఏలారు.He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.

42శత్రువులు వారిని బాధపెట్టారు. వారు శత్రువుల చేతి కింద అణగారిపోయారు.Their enemies oppressed them and subdued them under their hand.

43అనేక మార్లు ఆయన వారిని విడిపించాడు. అయినా వారు తమ ఆలోచనను అనుసరించి తిరుగుబాటు చేస్తూ వచ్చారు. తమ పాపం మూలంగా హీనదశకు వెళ్ళిపోయారు.Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity.

44అయినా వారి రోదన తనకు వినబడగా వారికి కలిగిన బాధను ఆయన చూశాడు.Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress.

45వారిని తలంచుకుని ఆయన తన నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకున్నాడు. తన నిబంధన విశ్వాస్యతను బట్టి వారిని కరుణించాడు.And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.

46వారిని చెరగొనిపోయిన వారికందరికీ వారంటే జాలి పుట్టించాడు.He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive.

47యెహోవా మా దేవా, మమ్మల్ని రక్షించు. మేము నీ పరిశుద్ధనామానికి కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించేలా, నిన్ను స్తుతిస్తూ మేము గర్వించేలా అన్యజనుల్లో నుండి మమ్మల్ని పోగుచెయ్యి.Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.

48ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా యుగయుగాలకూ స్తుతినొందు గాక. ప్రజలందరూ ఆమేన్‌ అందురు గాక. యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah!
