BSB BSB: Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
5 PBP Saba, ketika ito mono metubu lalong kedagingan, hawa nafsu dosa to nirangsang nu Hukum Taurat nokarajaa lalong anggota-angota alaeto untuk nohasila buah bagi maut. BSB BSB: For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death.

BSB BSB: But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Sebalikonyo, a'u ndau akan nongenal dosa kecuali malabat Hukum Taurat, karna a'u ndau akan mootoi batua ila meseilua milik too ntaninyo ono Hukum Taurat ndau momeilua, "nyaa moseilua." BSB BSB: What then shall we say? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have been mindful of sin if not for the law. For I would not have been aware of coveting if the law had not said, “Do not covet.”
8 PBP Akan tetapi, dosa nonggala kesempatan malabat parenta uo untuk nohasila berbagai macam oluluarong lalong alae'u; saba tanpa Hukum Taurat dosa akan naate. BSB BSB: But sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead.

10 PBP O parenta moo, to seharusonyo nongkomung ma'o petutubu, justru nomimpina'u ma'o maut. BSB BSB: So I discovered that the very commandment that was meant to bring life actually brought death.
11 PBP Saba dosa nanggala kesempatan malabat hukum uo untuk nonipu o nomate'u. BSB BSB: For sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through the commandment put me to death.
13 PBP Ono demikian, sapakah tono'ono uo moduaa apateong sono a'u? Seinsa-insang ndau! Dosamo tonohasila maut ri lalongngo'u malabat sapa tonombosi supaya nyata bahwa dosa uo dosa, o malabat hukum uo dosa semakin ni'ito podosaongngonyo. BSB BSB: Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Certainly not! But in order that sin might be exposed as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
14 PBP Saba niotoito bahwa Hukum Taurat nosifat rohani, teapi a'u no sifat jasmani, netebalu rialung nu dosa. BSB BSB: We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.
15 PBP Saba, ndau niotoi'u sapa tono'ugau'a karna a'u ndau nogau'a hal tono'uluari, melainkan a'u nogau'a hal tono'uengkeles. BSB BSB: I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do.
16 PBP O tetapi, ono a'u mogau'a soung hal to ndau u gau'a, a'u nonyetujui bahwa Hukum Taurat uo nombosi. BSB BSB: And if I do what I do not want to do, I admit that the law is good.
17 PBP Jari sa'o-sa'o, ndaomo a'u tonogau'a onyo, tetapi dosa tonetubu ri lalongngo'u. BSB BSB: In that case, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
18 PBP Saba, niotoi'u bahwa ndau diang hal tonombosi tonetubu rilalong ngo'u, iya'uo ri lalong kedaginganno'u, karna kehendak uo diang ri lalong alae'u, tetapi untuk mogau'a to nombosi uo ndau. BSB BSB: I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
19 PBP Saba, a'u ndau mogau'a pogau'ong nombosi to no'upatujui, tetapi a'u mogau'a hal to narate, to ndau no'u patujui! BSB BSB: For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do.
20 PBP Jari, ono a'u mogau'a hal to ndau upatujui, uo ndaumo a'u tonogau'a onyo, tetapi dosa tonetubu ri lalongngo'u. BSB BSB: And if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 PBP Jari, a'u nopotomua hukum moo, iya'uo: ketika a'u moluar mogau'a hal tonombosi, ararateong moje diang sosono a'u. BSB BSB: So this is the principle I have discovered: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
22 PBP Saba, no'uselu akan hukum ALLAH TA ALLAH rilalong batin no'u, BSB BSB: For in my inner being I delight in God’s law.
23 PBP Tetapi a'u nete'ito hukum ntaninyo lalong anggota-anggota alae'u tonojuang mangewa hukum akal budi'u o nontahang ngo'u ma'o lalong hukum dosa to diang lalong anggota-anggota alae'u. BSB BSB: But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me.
24 PBP A'u manusia celaka! Siseekah to nonyalamataa a'u ila alae maut moo? BSB BSB: What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?
25 PBP Syukur ma'o ALLAH TA ALLAH malabat Sioputo, Kristus Yesus! Jari, sono akal budi'u, a'u nolayani hukum ALLAH TA ALLAH, tetapi sono alae jasmani'u a'u nolayani hukum dosa. BSB BSB: Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I serve the law of God, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
