1 PBDT Lai iyah, salama janyi akan tama ka homan bahonti-Nya masih barlaku, nauhja diri mansai gola, amun tege ka antara diri am gagal mangawi janyi iyah. BSB BSB: Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it.
2 PBDT Memang bujur, kabar bai mula diparah ka diri, bera mula diparahkan ka urang, tapi baparah am urang nongar iyah honta manguntungkan urang lai honta suti dengan iman urang-urang am manongarkannya. BSB BSB: For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
3 PBDT Lai diri am parcaya, akan tama ka homan bahonti iyah, bera am diparah-Nya, "Aku basumpah lalam pangusar-Nya: 'Urang honta akan basa tama ka homan bahonti-Ku,' meskipun pangawi Hatalla jadi selesai sejak penciptaan dasar dunia itie. BSB BSB: Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world.
4 PBDT Lai, lalam sabuah nas, Hatalla bapaner sakian tuntang ari ka tujuh, "Metuh ari ka tujuh, Hatalla bahonti mula uras pangawi-Nya." BSB BSB: For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”
5 PBDT Akan tapi, bera am mula dipaner Hatalla, "Urang honta akan tama ka homan bahonti-Ku." BSB BSB: And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”
6 PBDT Jadi, masih tege kamungkinan akan sabagian urang tama ka homan bahonti, akan tege sabagian urang am sahompannya jadi manongar kabar bai, tapi gagal tama lai honta taat ka urang. BSB BSB: Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,
7 PBDT Jadi, sakali mula Hatalla manotapkan suti ari tartentu, am dijoku "ari itie," am jadi diparah malalu Daud jauh ari sahompannya, "Metuh ari itie, jakai kolai manongar suara-Nya, umet koringkan hatimu bera lalam panhancur." BSB BSB: God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 PBDT Lai, jakai Yosua jadi mamori urang homan pahonti, maka Hatalla honta akan mula bapaner tuntang suatu ari bukan ka limah ari. BSB BSB: For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
9 PBDT Jakai sakian, maka masih tege pahontian ka ari sabat akan umat Hatalla. BSB BSB: There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 PBDT Akan urang am jadi tama ka homan pahonti Hatalla, urang jam jadi baistirahat mula pangawinya, bera am Hatalla ngaruh mula pangawi-Nya. BSB BSB: For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His.
11 PBDT Lai iyah, ayo diri bajuang akan tama ka homan pahonti iyah, senga honta saurang pun jatu mula mairing contoh honta taat am samah. BSB BSB: Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
12 PBDT Lai, firman Hatalla iyah hirup bakuasa, lobih tajam mula ka pisau bamata dua manih pun. Firman iyah manucu mula jauh sampai mamisah jiwa roh, antara sendi dengan tulang sumsum, uras sangup manilai pikiran lalu kahona hati diri. BSB BSB: For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 PBDT Honta tege susatu makhluk pun am mantabu mula panampai-Nya. Sabaliknya, sagala suatu talanyang lalu honta tatabu mula mata-Nya. Ka-Henya diri harus mamori partanggungjawaban tingi uras am diti ngaruh. BSB BSB: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 PBDT Lai diri hompu Imam Bakah Agung am jadi nai ka surga, iyaham Yesus, Ana Hatalla, ayo diri tarus barigap toguh ka pangakuan diri. BSB BSB: Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.
16 PBDT Lai iyah, dengan kayakinan, ayo diri datang manguang takhta anugerah nyaman diri manarima belas kasihan lalu manapat anugerah akan manulung diri, katika diri mamerlukannya. BSB BSB: Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
