4 PBDT Tingallah ka lalam Aku lalue Aku ka lalam kolai. Samah bera ranting honta ulih babuah mule dirienya kanirie, kacuali inya tingal ka pokok anggur, demikian jam kolai honta ulih babuah, kacuali kolai tingal ka lalam Aku. BSB BSB: Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
5 PBDT Akulah pokok anggur lalue kolai lah ranting-rantingnya. Satiap urang am tingal ka lalam Aku, lalue Aku ka lalam inya, inya akan babuah banyae laie tapisah mulae-Aku, kolai honta ulih babuat apa-apa. BSB BSB: I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
6 PBDT Amun sikue urang honta tingal ka lalam Aku, inya akan konae buang samah bera ranting lalue manjadie koring; lalue orang akan mangumpulkan lalue manibarnya ka lalam api, lalue tabakar. BSB BSB: If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 PBDT Amun kolai totap tingal ka lalam Aku lalue paner-Ku tingal ka lalam kolai, minta lah apa am kolai honae, lalue yah akan dikabulkan akan kolai. BSB BSB: If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 PBDT Ompai-Ku akan dimuliakan honie hal itie, yah amun kolai babuah banyae lalue dengan bera iyah, kolai yah kawan murid-Ku." BSB BSB: This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
9 PBDT "Bera Ompai jadie mangasihi Aku, bera iyah Aku jadie mengasihi kolai; totaplah tingal lalam kasih-Ku. BSB BSB: As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
10 PBDT Amun kolai mematuh uras perintah-Ku, kolai akan tingal lalam Kasih-Ku, samah bera Aku jadie mematuh perintah Ompai lalue tingal lalam kasih-Nya. BSB BSB: If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
11 PBDT Hal-hal itie Aku paner ka kolai nyaman berami-KU tege ka lalam mu, sahingga beramimu manjadie ponuh. BSB BSB: I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12 PBDT Itie am perintah-Ku: Kolai harus saling mangasihi, samah bera Aku jadie mangasihi kolai. BSB BSB: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 PBDT Honta arae kasih am lobih bakah mulae kasih sikue urang am mamorie hirupnya ka kawan sahabatnya. BSB BSB: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14 PBDT Kolai yah kawan sahabat-Ku amun kolai mangawie apa am Kuperintahkan ka kolai. BSB BSB: You are My friends if you do what I command you.

19 PBDT Amun kolai mulae dunia, tentulah dunia am mangasihi hompuenya; tapie laie kolai bukan mulae dunia, tapie Aku jadie mamilih kolai mulae dunia, laie hal iyah dunia mambenci kolai. BSB BSB: If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20 PBDT Ingatlah paner am jadie Ku parah ka kolai: 'Sikue urang pasuruh honta lobih bakah mulae tuannya'. Amun urang jadie malaie Aku, urang jam akan malaie kolai. Amun urang maumae firman-Ku, urang jam akan maumae panermu. BSB BSB: Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.

22 PBDT AMun Aku honta datang lalue mamarah urasnya yah ka urang, urang honta akan bahompue dosa. Tapie metuh tie, urang honta bahompue dalih akan dosa urang. BSB BSB: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23 PBDT Satiap urang am mambenci Aku, inya jam mambenci Ompai-Ku BSB BSB: Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.
24 PBDT Seandinya Aku honta mengawie ka antara urang pangawie-pengawie am mayan arae digawie urang bukan, urang honta akan mamilih dosa. Tapie metuh tie, urang jadie mailae tapie tatap mambenci Aku lalue Ompai-Ku. BSB BSB: If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
25 PBDT Tapie, firman am tatulis lalam kitab Taurat urang harus digonapi:'Urang mambenci Aku tanpa alasan.' BSB BSB: But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’
27 PBDT Lalue kolai jam akan basaksi laie kolai jadie basamah-Ku metuh hariah." BSB BSB: And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
